모차르트의 레퀴엠(Requiem)은 그의 마지막 작품 중 하나로, 죽음을 주제로 한 장엄 미사곡입니다.
레퀴엠은 라틴어로 "영혼을 위한 미사"를 뜻하며, 주로 고인을 추모하는 가톨릭 전례에서 사용됩니다.
이 곡은 d단조로 쓰였으며, 작품 번호는 KV 626입니다.
모차르트의 레퀴엠은 그가 1791년에 작곡했으며, 안타깝게도 모차르트는 이 작품을 완성하지 못한 채 세상을 떠났습니다. 이후 그의 제자인 프란츠 크사버 쥐스마이어(Franz Xaver Süssmayr)가 미완성 부분을 완성했습니다.
