Idk, people keep saying that lol. I run galewind on death sentence, earth cleaver and rage on spin cutter with the ATK speed tripod.

@@HorizonMediaGamingof course. Spincut as synergy is outdated and having to use ur movement skill in a dps rotation means u wasted the time to cast 1 more skill within it. When u could’ve just use turning slash and use 1 less skill (spincut)

I am still trying stuff and switching things around. I usually play 3 points in limit break but this week I am trying with 1 point there expecially with no crit syn and without bracelet yet. Will definitely swap after brel.

I am using the turning slash synergy so I can get ATK speed on spincutter, which I also use legendary rage on. This run I was playing with galewind leg on soul absorber aswell + feast.

You can fix it by sacrificing meter gen on twin shadows/ focus runes, or just eat mana food. The best way is to get an artist on your team and problem mostly solved :)

I converted it when I got 2 pieces onto Ark Passive (So my crit rate was better than what I had in my old setup) and lvl 68. My thought proccess was that the T skill actually becomes useable with the points in mana reduction in the leap tree making your surge end up less of your total dps than before. So I prefered the AP boost.

Noooo, don't give up on Gunslinger. RE is the most fun i've had in the game so far combat wise though aha

No it's always usually better after maelstrom especially if you run Raid Captain for damage in a rotation. I've been trying different builds lately and it messes up my rotation sometimes. Unless it's a greedy DS, I just use it

@@Johan_Brandtx Without Ark Passive yeah it's bound to happen. It gets solved activating it, reducing the T skill mana cost by 90% and if it still happens you can always eat mana food which I usually do. Having a good support also helps a lot!

@@FlashyFlash-cp9gn No. You get 40 Leap Points at level 70 total. Bracelet are going to give us more points and have access to the second row which enhance your T-Skill

​@@Boombijin approximately how much gold was it from 1660 to 1680?

@@FlashyFlash-cp9gn I was 1650 before entering T4 with full advanced honing done, so I ended up 1670, and it cost me around 100 to 200k to get to 1580 from that point. 1660 to 1680 is really expensive without advanced honing sadly...

​@@kierns5582Depends what ilvl you are. If you are under 1680 definitely not and you should wait for at least 3 pieces. However if you are 1680 it is argueable that you can swap early depending on what you will use as accessories. Swapping at one piece above 1680 still makes you lose crit rate for example but I think for sure 2 pieces is worth swapping as RE Blade because of the new surge. You can also try both of your setups in trixion / spamming guardians run and see for yourself if you feel like it is better for you.

@@HorizonMediaGaming Yeah It still happens to me sometimes, we gotta get used to it. There is two ways I try to do to fix this. Either you finish your rotation with Soul Absorber using the mobility to get away from the boss and have plenty of space to surge or the easiest one is just to move a little bit away from the boss and just put your mouse in front of you before you surge (See example at 3:12). You can use it on top of you to not move but it's really tricky and sometimes I end up surging the other way lol

@update, your tip helped but honestly I ended up surging away from the boss so perhaps my best bet is to just move back and use soul absorber as you said

Surge to the side and spin back with twin shadow, or jump back with death sentence, or spin back with spincutter, whatever works case-by-case. Ending cycles with soul absorber is suboptimal. Ideally though, there shouldn't be a lot of struggle putting your mouse right in front of the char. But honestly they should've added an X button to RE's identity, and kept the old surge skill variation bound to X so you can select between the two.

I did, and did pretty similar if not better. You are right as entropy usually can't open AP at 1 piece but that's a general rule. RE Deathblade above 1680 unlocking the new surge with 100% back attack and repositioning gives you way more potential to outdps your old T3 setup. Below 1680, yeah you should not activate AP on Blade as it will for sure decrease your dps and tbh it was only for a week, as I got my second piece, I became for sure stronger than my T3 setup. I have 2 decent relic accessories (Leg roll on necklace and earring ) and one ancient. No relic books.

Here was my full setup including gems imgur.com/JAAD7qA, it is basically all lvl 8 T4 besides Maelstrom CD which is lvl 7 and Death Sentence CD lvl 6

Yeah, unfortunately opening ark passive early if you don't have the new surge, which needs you to be 1680 ilvl, is not worth it. If you reach 1660 and a few pieces (3) from Aegir, you still might be able to activate it and do a little bit better than your T3 setup.

@@Crimson1296Not exactly how much, I did not run proper tests. You can try both setup in Trixion first to see if you gained anything by activating AP, which I think I did for the most part (The utility of the new Surge, 100% Back attack which pair with my Ambush bracelet, I did lose about 5% crit chance though, which got solved week 2 of clearing Aegir Hard, now I have 5% more crit chance). Try it out it guardians too and have fun with it.
