Amazing. For most of my game on my 80 strength build I've been using a medium shield for parrying, and my Grafted Greatsword for attacks and criticals. I noticed that the Bloodstained Dagger scales with Strength, so I fully upgraded it and started swapping to that when I go for the critical attack, but it doesn't seem to do any more meaningful damage than my Grafted Greatsword even when I bind an elemental affinity the boss is weak to. With the Golden Hippo fight I found that getting in a couple of two handed fully charged heavy attacks did more damage than getting critical with the dagger. Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

Just wanted to say that I watched a lot of tutorials and this is the one that finally allowed me to dodge it SOMEWHAT. Instead of getting instashredded I either managed to dodge it or only get clipped. Thanks a ton

when i dont know how to kill this guy, i try to not watch the guide and my thoughts is only to parry the shit out of this guy and manage to win after a ton of tries (50+ lol), i just dont know how to avoid most of his 2nd phase attack even after 50+ tries 😂

this is the first close range waterfowl dodge video that really helped me. i watched dozens already, but after this one i just immediately managed to dodge waterfowl close range hitless. it's the first one i saw, that shows keyboard inputs, stays locked on to her, and doesnt use items like a shield or bloodhound step, and doesn't circle around too unintuitively.

I love the fire knights sword but I really struggled against her. I had a much easier time when I removed all armor so I can fast role. Ironically that’s when I finally beat her.

I used that one magic ash of war where you cause purple shockwaves three times, gave the weapon cold (malenia is weak to it), and used mimic tear. I genuinely felt kinda bad for her. I also had the regen shield equipped. Health is a social construct. Poise is not.
