Hey! It looks like Capcut is back in Florida! It's working on both of my laptops. What about where you are? (To think I almost purchased a V.P.N.)!

I'm in the same boat my friend I just did a deep dive into filmora it's a great program but they up charge you for edit assets 20 dollars a month for filters transactions etc. And from what I've read with others on reddit it's impossible to get a refund or to end your subscription.

capcut stopped working last night at 11pm (11/18). I was able to save the day on a video id been editing for 5 days by turning off my wifi. I was then able to continue editing and was able to export as long as you only use the free features.

I'm in the video production business. Nothing in this world is truly free. Nothing. Open shot will work just fine for most people. It's relatively simple to use and is pretty robust. Davinci is used by amateurs and pros alike and is actually preferred by some of the big boys and girls for color correction. Adobe Premiere is the Mac-Daddy of editors in my opinion. One of the things that make it so popular is that all of the Adobe suite modules can either be stand alone or will integrate with each other. You can export your audio directly from inside Premiere, edit it in Adobe Audition and then export it straight into Premiere. You can create graphics in Photoshop and integrate those directly into Premiere as well. Also - many people don't know this but Premiere will also auto-generate captions for your video and will do both horizontal AND vertical video. The downside to Adobe is two-fold...relatively expensive and there is a VERY steep learning curve. But don't let scare you. If you truly have the need for something on that level, don't be afraid to go for it. Hope that helps someone out there...

I think your $450 set up looked better than the $500. Maybe it’s because you were much closer to the second shot than you were with the first one. This is SweetTea, I met you a couple years back at the Doctrine for the Block conference. We all actually went to lunch together and I met you and your son. I live out here in Phoenix. I’ve been trying to find you and saw that your channel wasn’t being used. So glad to see you’re back! Now I’m doing all the video/social media for my congregation. Trying to up the game too. I would love to get in contact with you and pick your brain and maybe you can help me. I’m training with one tech guy from Nazarene district office, but, always good to pick more brains!! What particular dslr camera would you recommend? I would need at least 3 as I do three shots using an iPad and my iPhone. Going to get a second iPhone for the third shot so I don’t have to move my iPhone from 2nd to third shot. If we get to go live live soon, I don’t want people seeing me picking up second camera and moving it to third spot. Doesn’t make for good viewing at all! In my opinion of course. Would like to go live soon. The training I’m doing with district guy is learning the board that allows you to change the shots during a live stream of a service. Between the camera angles and adding overlay of slides (which I will have to have for those at home to follow service) and stuff like that. My dslr camera is so old it might as well be in a museum at this point. Can’t even take a sd card bigger than I think like 32mb (it may take 64, I’d have to look, it’s been awhile since I’ve used it), so it wouldn’t work for a 2 hours service at all. And I believe the pixels isn’t too high. It’s a camera from like 2005/2006 timeframe. Only can print maximum of 8x10 and have it crystal clear. So, I’m positive the video would most likely be standard definition which is trash when my Apple products currently record in 4k and are uploaded in 4k. They would be too high of data for the largest sd card for my crappy old dinosaur of a camera. We are a small congregation and can’t spend too much at one time. Do you have any suggestions? For camera and the board thing?? That we can save up for, for future endeavor’s? Like specific camera that’s good to start with. We just yesterday finally got to set up a new audio for the videos using a microphone system that connects into sound board (I think the tape out port) which allows whatever is coming through soundboard (all the microphones and the speaker system) will attach to the iPad through the receiver that’s plugged into it. We have high cathedral ceilings and of course, the sound sounds different in that kind of environment. And the speakers aren’t the best either. They are these weird looking standup things and there are only two. One on each side of the very longgggggggg stage and have plants basically hiding them. I had an issue at first with the sound but, was able to adjust the gain and the volume through the receiver for the microphone (the one plugged into the main sound board) and got rid of the scratchy weird sound. So, next step is getting the extra shots down packed (I don’t use sound for the b-roll shots just the video) and get it to where I can use the little board that can switch between shots and add the overlays in real time. And eventually wanna get better cameras too! Amy suggestions would be appreciated. 😉 I pray you and your son are doing well! If there is another doctrine for the block, I’ll be sure to see you! Genius! So you actually just duplicate the ATEM multiview as many times as you want and then crop differently each time. I will try this definitely and see if I can live with the quality degradation:)

So if you add four cameras to the atem mini and do the same thing u can have a 4 cam show... nice trick...Explanation is here and there but i get it... thanks...

Bro cant you just get the decklink duo2 for this application? Its much cheaper than atems.. I believe only advantage of the atems over decklink duo is being standalone hardware, you wont need a pc.. but if you are using pc just get the decklink imo

The thing that I like about OBS is that it is available for both Windows and Mac. I personally prefer to use vMix on Windows... but you can't beat the value of OBS, and it truly can do pretty much anything you want to do.

Hey Mike - Willie Ware, here. I do review other content. I look at both "successful" and content that hasn't done well numbers wise. I review a lot of your work as well. Have always had respect for your work, from afar.

That’s true. For the last few weeks I’ve used ai to do this and to help critique my description box writings. Instead of me spending forever writing it and redoing it a bunch of times till my ocd is okay with it, I just have them critique and change what’s needed. Then I make small edits it needed. They’ll also help you come up with ideas for your channel too, as far as video ideas. And there is a program I just learned about that will literally create shorts for you and rate them 1-100 with 1 being the one they think is best video down to 100 being the least of the shorts they made. You just give them the yt link tk the video and what section timestamps to work in and they create shorts from that section.
