Purpose of the channel is to preserve race videos from around the country. Most videos will be from Oregon, California, Washington and Arizona racetracks. Will find races from 1961 to present day.
Live music is also one of our passions and you will find a few music videos pop up once in awhile.

Was the car with the post on the steering wheel Mel Kenyon's?
Ralph Liguori in the 35 on the mainstretch after going on his side. Lucky man. Bud Tingelstad in the 22 toward the wall.
Best vid
rest in peace frank brewer ♥
When Sprintcar racing was good
thems tough flagmen thank god they were not hurt none
Its still their
Holy shit
Marvin had a very very heavy right foot..
Greatest show on dirt! It's really great to hear Windy again and watch some of the greatest drivers ever. I really enjoyed watching Johnny Herrera again.
This is the result of top heavy race cars, and common mechanical failure
Another reminder of better racing than today
I think John Reddican came out the worst of everyone involved as I recall. This happened right in front of me and I was terrified for the flagmen.
Would you happen to have any more from the WF&FF series?
Hello! I grew up watching dirt cars at Manzanita Speedway as a kid and I’m trying to put together a little documentary/memoir video about the track. You’ve got some great historical videos of it on your channel and I’d love to talk to you about maybe using your content of Manzy! I’ll link all sources of course!
I grew up at this track. I was at this race at 5 years old. Thanks for the upload. Oh the memories.
Best wheelie ever???
XcelPlus is the original Slick 50 formulation. The name got sold but not the formulation. 🙂
Just imagine these guys back in the 80's Literally rebuilding their "1" car the same night until the next night in a Hotel Parking Lot. Ex; Brad Doty, Jac Haudenschild, Doug Wolfgang, Lou Blaney, Billy Pauch, etc...
Glory days of Indy Car look at those crowds, today there's no spirit in racing today i don't know how to get it back, more american drivers would help!
My mom and dad always talked about the fairground's dirt track. I never went there, I was way too little, to go to something like that and sit still. I would have loved to have been able to go there and seen some racing. The last time I went to the fairground's the bleachers were still there, that was in the early 2000's.
The first time I went to PIR was in 1975 to see the Bobby Ball Memorial, it was a 150 miler then. I was 15 when I went the first time and would go to every race at PIR until 1983, that's when life changed my chances of going to races. I hate what NASCAR ownership has done to the track. They put up banners of NASCAR legends hanging from the grandstands, only AJ Foyt had a Champ Car qualifying banner up. They, NASCAR, have totally ruined the track now. The old bleachers are gone, they have built suites, now you sit on the back straight. They had too, that was the only way to make PIR a "Tri-Oval".
That catch fence wouldn't stop a 20MPH shopping cart
Sadly we lost Grove in late May 2023. He did a great job and whatever he put his hand to. God bless him and his Joanne.
I remember that night . Reason being I knew I was there was when the car hit the flagstand. Scary!
Definitely scary. Flagman was down and #55 Redian looked slow to exit his sprinter.
My uncle was Danny p
I was there, a very scary moment. I thought the flag man was really hurt at the time. I was very happy to learn he was OK. I loved how the 2nd flagman was able to get the red out in spite of almost having a sprint car for dinner. Always enjoyed Windy also.
Just proves how much of a brass set those guys who are flag men have.
Great nights...
Place was fast !!!
PIR was a great track, until Nascar ruined it !!!
Love the outlaws 🏁
Lots of vintage skagit speedway!! Memories!!
Great classic video and even better background music. Just Perfect! And you just gotta love those 'Early Days' "Funny Cars." Or were they still known as AF/X class in 1966?
"Listen to the Wind Blow." Windy McDonald's weekly program column title. He was the greatest. I love the ambient crowd sound during yellow flag laps and the distant city lights framing turns 3 and 4. It was all part of the greatness of Saturday nights at Manzanita Speedway!
Friday and Satursdays were just something else at Manzy. I miss that place so much.
I'm guessing this is an early appearance for Ralph Shaheen on TNN, as he mainly worked for ESPN prior to this, and continued to do work for ESPN through 1995 as well as work for Prime and TNN.
Watching again! 57:17 Stoga is only for the bravest, giant nads packing, race car drivers. I always think "slow down!!!...... someone's gonna get hurt!!" Thrillingly dangerous. 🤕🏁🥵🤢🤨
Was at this race on Nov 18,1962. Race was called after Elmer George went through the crashfence and into the stands! I got everyone’s autograph! AJ Foyt, Parnelli Jones Roger Ward, all most all of the drivers. On the program! It later got destroyed when I moved with new pregnant wife pulling an open cargo trailer. It rained! Ruined lots of my stuff! Miss having that. I was 12 when I was at the race.last one they had at fairgrounds!
Chuck Hulse is the rear engined car on the hook in practice
I see Gordon Johncock but he did not race. Why?
Don Meacham in the #79. Love that ride
Al Miller #85, Caves Buick, dnq
John Hollandsworth in the 42. DNQ
Greg Wels #96, the J.Frank Harrison Caves Chevy. Qualified 22nd, finished 14th after crashing.
Bob Tattersall #20. DNQ
Mixture of Champ cars and rear-engined cars...
Any chance you might have any Sportsman video from 1990
Might have a couple. Will take a look
LOVE IT
WAS THAT A "1961 MUSTANG" AT THE START OF THE VIDEO
WHEN RECORDING WITH A MOVIE CAMERA THER'S THIS THING CALLED PANNING WHERE YOU MIGHT FOLLOW ONE OR 2 CARS AS THEY GO BY
Could you show video as of #4 yellow Comaro from 1990 and #34 yellow chevelle 1991_92 ?
Don't think I have a video from then but will look around.
