Can i just say how great our police are over here on the Isle of man especially when you consider the shit they see during TT when some riders aren't up to the very fast roads
Not sure bout 170
I entered a MTBike event in 2010, a 24Hr Endurance kind of do, way back in the day before 27.5"Ers and 29"Ers Diam. of MTBikes were possibly dreamt of,before it began, in Archallagan Plantation, a IOM Constabulary 'Po~Leece Van' pulled near by around half an hour before this much vaunted and looked forward to initial charity cycle 24 hr endurance was to start, and there I was just having a cigarette or two, and I thought, 'Lookout! What's happened?', so in order to detense and allay the situation I got up and sauntered over, feeling quite sheepish, and asked the police person in the front, "What's happened? Do you want any help?", to which came the reply, something like, "We've had reports of a theft.", "Theft? No way! What's been nicked? I might have seen someone or......, something?", "Wood. Wood was stolen. We aren't certain where from, but somewhere around here.", and, at that point, I was thinking, 'I am in the middle of a forestry plantation, of Isle Of Man government owned trees on government owned land, thinking, all that's around here, seems to be wood, trees, a few felled slimmish logs, fire tracks, and more wood. A number of MTBikes and a race hut close by. Who would nick wood from a plantation? Would it even be missed? Someone definitely would miss it? I can't tell. I have only been here about twenty minutes. Admittedly, not the cleverest of things, smoking a cigarette on a warm June morning in the summer in a forestry plantation, in fact, it's darned right foolish a thing to do.'. In a moment or two, they said, far as I can vaguely recall, only kidding, and a MTBiker got out the back of the police van, I think, and unloaded his shiny new looking, clean, certainly, mountain bike and the mountain bikes of their team partners in the MTBike 24 Hour Manx Mountain Bike Club 'Loaghtan* Loaded' event, due to take place half an hour or so from then. A bit of a nice surprise that was, as well as a relief to not find myself in hot water, too. *a Loaghtan Sheep is a breed of four horned dark golden~ish brown fleece coloured sheep, native to The Isle Of Man, small and sturdy, a rare breed, like us Manx, and of, poooooooossibly, ancient Viking decent, genetically speaking, it could be said. This videoclip's brilliant, by the way. I tend to waffle on too much, this gives you the best of the Isle Of Man TT at it's less lighter sides, side, so to type. Isle Listen.😂
Hello! May I use it in one of my compilations? Full Credited of course. Thanks

Cracking copper !
There's no speed limit on the island during the TT, so you can go whatever speed you want when there's no race
Clickbait.
Slowed down due to biker on the inside
@user-jv8xv7lb5j yeah you are right and i followed him for the previous 5 miles then he let me pass.......#clueless

Hey, there! Can we feature this clip in one of our upcoming videos? You will be credited in both the video watermark and the description/Pinned Comment. :)

Am I the only one who thinks that they shouldnt hit blind corners at those speeds? Dont get me wrong, this is some truly impressive riding, but especially the few turns at 2:50 make me sceptical of wether you could stop in time if there was traffic. Nonetheless, as I said, great riding. Greetings from Germany.
@Juxze its one way so nothing is coming , doesnt really.show on camera but im looking half a mile ahead at some points so i see other vehicles and how fast they are going , so I have a pretty good idea of where and when they will be when i catch them. Have ridden that section of the course around 750 times in the last 20 years , so I know it pretty well :-) Still has its dangers but thats why I ride
@@TTFluffers ok the one way thing is good to know. In that case I have nothing to complain about, nice riding :)
Er what you don't realise is the mountain is made one way during TT fortnight lol there shouldn't be anyone coming from other direction it's the mad bugger coming from behind btw there's no speed limit on the mountain
Is that road only one way?
@@thegodenbear1744 yes
Let’s be honest, I’m sure it would of been a different story if the old bill actually knew they were doing 170mph the other side of the bend 😆 nice vid 👏🏼 Hope you done 180mph on the way back 😁
There’s not speed limits…I regularly do 170mph on that road
Camera guy is on either an R1 or an MT10, I'd recognise that growl anywhere.
R1 :-)
@@TTFluffers I've got the mt10. So this is the soundtrack of my life, the engine is the best bit of the bike.
They do. I just received a warning while doing 180. The cop was a fan of kawasaki. He knew, ZX14R would break if it goes slow.
This should be compulsory viewing for all police on the mainland.
Hope you’ve had a good week and earned a few quid
Hey TT! Great video! Possible to use it in future compilation? Credited as always!

Hey there. How are you? All good to feature in my next episode? Full credits will be given to you, of course. Thanks!

hey man can I use this on my social platforms, ill be sure to fully credit you let me know thanks
No worries
No idea wtf he said but at least it looks like everyone is having a bit of fun.
Two clearly very skilled motorcyclists.
Idiotic!
The Isle of Man Police are legends. There is a video of a guy overtaking IOM police at 140mph and they waved at them as they went past..!
And what if you lose it and hit a civilian?
What if a civillian loses it and hits me?
Seemed to know his way round anyway 😂
The reason they're nice chaps, much like the New Zealand police. No gun on the belt.
Plenty in the tank 😂
How come there was no traffic coming the other way
One way during TT
@@TTFluffers ok thanks didn’t realise it was Tt wk I thought they were just biking round as normal
The Isle of Man is my idea of heaven, I’ll retire there
I was shifting up there last year on the little 108hp 600 around 160 and you two come past me. Trying to see if it's on footage

@@TTFluffers literally just watched them all but not on there :) 23 was a blast weather was awesome
Nice riding chaps.
Well ride. Conscious rider. Congrats 👌
Be nice if a could hear anything
IOM Police are a different breed. Much respect.
Ah that takes me back mad Sunday on my rd500ypvs
This reminds me of all the times I went to the TT. I would get up in the morning at silly a clock to do a lap of the TT and there would be no one else about. One the benefits of being a teetoaller I guess. However even with nothing about and a lack of your skill sets I settled for just enjoying the view. The only benefit I got for my efforts were that I actually got a complete lap in unlike many others. I managed this because I would drive through the cones at Governors Dip to complete the lap.
I thought there was no speed limit once you get out of DOUGLAS?
That’s a scary road,
Did they pull them over to give them a trophy ❤❤❤
Must be an ablsolute blast being able to ride like that but i have to be honest,it ain't for me.My pants would be well and truely soiled
Speed is OK when you can handle all the bends etc along with not endangering others lives . Yet you could not be sure on any of those when going at those damn stupid speeds , just because the racers do does not mean you can . These police officers are there for everyone's safety and if the worst happens then these are the guys that scrape you up . Just remember that unless you live on this island then you need to have full travel insurance with full medical otherwise it could be an astronomical bill . Ride safe
You dont need either of those things , been going for 20 years. Had a few friends that have had crashes over the years....all medical needs taken care of with no charges , UK insurance covered damage to vehicles
@@TTFluffers guess what !!!! You do need to have travel insurance with full medical insurance with it . ..... Even if you are from the UK , but that's a risk some will make . Just think how much its gonna cost if you have a nasty crash ,, I can't even imagine the amount . You'd pay for police , paramedics , ambulance maybe even Heli-med and then there's all the costs of treatment.. so you really want to take that chance ????!!!!!!
Just as I was thinking. …. Imagine doing it on a real bike….. your mates flies past. 😂😂😂😂
Brilliant T.shirts 👍
Mountain Rd Mountain Rules!! All kinda folks n bikes doing all kinda things....u do the best u can & try n stay safe.....if u get a clear run it's a bonus!! Enjoy😅
That gave me a warm fuzzy feeling ❤️
What a "Bloody Loveleh" copper.
Obey the rules, ride within your limits, don’t be reckless and wear the gear. They’ll have no issue with you & you’ll live to tell your mates what a great time you had in the IOM
