It’s so refreshing to see a first time mom not overpack and actually bring the essentials. I absolutely hated the hospital mesh underwear and pads, I’m currently pregnant again and I got the frida mom disposable underwear and pads, if you didn’t have your baby yet I suggest you getting the pads as well. The tucks is amazing, especially if you get hemorrhoids. Congratulations 🫶🏽

Your story is VERY similar to mine and that makes me feel a bit better lol I’m 35 weeks today with baby girl my first and probably only 😂 I never wanted kids before but I’m in love with her already so I’m excited for the future (and I’m doing this without the father who I was also with for 4 years so it was a struggle at first but I have my parents by my side)

Best advice is to get you some comfy adult diapers. They are alot better than the big ass pads. Like get underwear type diapers. And if you are breastfeeding nippl cream is life. Also take a few newborn outfits and get a few premie outfits bc girls tend to be smaller than boys and just in case she comes out on the smaller side and so youll have something that actually fits her and not outfits that swallow her. Trust me it matters. Witch hazel will also be your best friend for down there and theres a numbing spray for your vag its life. 😂 im just trying to help you out. I had to learn all this on my own. Also if you tear be very careful bc wiping or your diapers or anything can get caught on your stitches. Again i learned the hard way. My stitch tore out. It hurt so bad. And my vag hasnt been the same bc they never put another stitch back so now it looks messed up. Also invest in a few brands of pacifiers. Some babies like pacis some dont. My oldest threw his across the hospital room once he figured out no milk was coming out of it. No joke. And my youngest did the same. Hes 10 months old now. And refused it bc no milk. 😂 oh and heads up you wont get any sleep in the hospital bc nurses constantly coming in amd out your room. And you may get grumpy bc lack of sleep. Also any test the need to do on her they can do in your room. Hearing and eye check all of that. Also big word of advice you are going to have to be your biggest advocate and also your daughter's. Dont let the nurses or drs bully you into doing something that you dont want to do. Also if you want to hold off on some things so you and her can get rest bc birth is traumatic for both you and baby you can absolutely tell them come back later. With breastfeeding the perfect latch is key to not having sore nipples babe. Make sure you get as nuck nipple and Arreola in her mouth as possible. They dont tell you that. I was fortunate and all my babies had good latches. Except my two premie babies. Any questions you have you can ask me. Oh i have 6 boys and a girl. Now trying for my last and final child and im praying for a baby girl. A sister for my only daughter.

Congratulations and i am so unbelievably proud of you for making the hard decision to keep her and to love her and raise her. It takes a lot. I had my first child at 17 i was so scared and nervous. And i didnt want to be a mom but i was taught if you are woman enough to lay down and make that baby youre woman enough to stand up and raise it. Then my mom tried to talk me into an abortion and i could not kill my child. And now hes my best friend and tells me like it is. Even when its really hard to hear he tells me the cold hard truth. Now i have 7 children and they are the best things to have ever happened to me.

Lmfao the sperm donor I felt that bcz same af. I just turned 39 weeks today I’m having a baby girl too & I share a room with baby. I drink a banana shake a few times a week with hecka ice. Was literally drinking my banana shake as I came across this video lol I felt you so much in this whole video!🌷✨ From being a pregnant single mommy, all the emotions, pregnancy taking a toll on our bodies. If I want him in the room when I give birth or not. I’ve felt so alone but god and my momma been the biggest support. It’s been UP & DOWN. Idk you but I’m with you. I feel you.
