    I've been looking at videos of comic con from last year recently coming up to comic con this year and I found yours. I think the footage you got was fine and you have some nice autographs. I would love to meet Pom. As for me the best guest is tricky but I got a Bernard Hill photograph and autograph last year from him. He passed away earlier this year, so I feel very fortunate to have met him not too long before he passed.

    Not only is he not that good of a critic anymore but he’s also a jerk of a person in real life which I only recently found out Fury Of The Film Fan are TH-cam channel did an in-depth 43 minute video exposing the fact that Chris Stuckmann is not the nice person everyone thought he was. The title was “My Experience with Chris Stuckmann….I Have To Talk About This” This is some of the sentences from the Fury Of The Film Fan said on video of Chris “People were working with Chris and they were having problems with him, and they would come to me with these problems because they thought we were friends” they were like “you have to do something about it” I said I am not getting involved if you’re having that problem you need to talk to him. Like Jeremy Jahns felt like Chris was copying his edit style. At one point he wrote a letter to a fellow movie critic complaining that she was showing too much cleavage and that she was using her sex appeal for views and that she wasn’t a real movie critic. She is still having issues with that till this day with what he did, which was 13 years ago. I finally decided to confront Stuckmann after an individual had come to our group crying one evening because he was upset with what Stuckmann had done, now he already affected the female subscriber, she didn’t even want to make movie reviews anymore, now this kid is coming in crying and I said “ alright enough is enough this guy is destroying dreams while trying to build up his it’s got to stop” so I tried to reach out to him and I kept getting ignored I told him listen we gotta talk there’s a lot of people who have concerns. I finally reached out to him after I made a lot of complaints online because I understood that Chris only cared about his online persona because he had this goal of being this online presence so messing with his online persona is a big no no. So Chris finally stepped up started talking to me and it was then that he shared with me why he ghosted us, because we were quote on quote a bad influence on him, because the advice we were giving him was bad for him, even though he would later take that advice and apply it, we were ghosted because the advice we gave him was unwarranted. Advice in deciding to remain a Jehovah’s Witness at the time I had told him one evening at a White Castle we hung out at after we saw a movie and I told him “Do not let others tell you how to be happy, if you’re staying in the religion because of your friends because you’re scared to lose your friends, then they are not your friends because real friends are gonna be there for you no matter what and you need to be free of that religion then if you’re gonna be happy” I said okay whatever look “ we still got an issue with everyone else complaining about you” he didn’t care. I asked him to reach out and apologize to them he tried apologizing to two of them, but his apologies were very disingenuous, when you say “I’m sorry you feel that way” you’re gaslighting that’s not an apology you’re not understanding what I’m feeling here you’re just trying to keep it moving I would send a link to that video in the comments section, but TH-cam sometimes doesn’t let you do that and deletes your comment. Just search up the video I showed you. It will completely change your view on Chris entirely.

    I haven’t seen Bad Boys 4 yet but the first Bad Boys will always be number 1. With Will you just always expected Uncle Phil to save his ass in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Martin was only known for Bilal in House Party and his sitcom Martin with Gina. Historically you just never seen two black lead characters as detectives. For me the original Bad Boys is right up there with Lethal Weapon.

    I had a good time with this one. Not near the adrenaline rush of Fury Road but Alyla Browne and Anya Taylor Joy did great as Furiosa but Chris Hemsworth was the show stealer for me! I did feel some pacing issues but overall it was an enjoyable return to the wasteland. Great review!

    Chris is many things , film reviewer , movie enthusiast , a student of cinema , film maker , husband , father , etc . If he doesn't want to join in the negative pile on of any film , thats up to him. Its his channel, and it will be whatever he wants it to be. If people don't like it they are free to go elsewhere. For mine , he is a far better critic than the vast majority of the people calling out.

  • @Ivyrigs
    @Ivyrigs 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    As someone who doesnt even really watch Chris very often, I have to say this entire video is incredibly poorly thought out and amateur. Firstly, you spend a majority of the video bringing up decade old videos and collaborations that have no relevance to the topic at hand. Secondly, you state multiple times that Chris himself has stated that his primary goal for his videos is not to be overly negative but rather to lift up the movies he enjoys and talk about the art form he's passionate about. Thirdly, you also fail to bring up any points as to how his position as a film critic is disputable other than him giving up a rating system and not wanting to review movies that he thinks are shit. Newsflash: anyone with an opinion can be a critic with or without an arbitrary grading scale that likely wont be consistent anyway. And on another note, you repeatedly mock Chris for making a point of how difficult filmmaking is and how he respects the people who do it, even when they make a bad movie. This is blatantly stupid and ignorant of you. How can you make a Letterboxd account and start a TH-cam channel where you review movies and yet still not understand that cinema is an art form and nobody deserves to be completely berated for the quality of their work which could have been influenced by so many things outside of their control? How blind do you have to be to make fun of the idea of respecting filmmakers and what they do while sitting in front of a collection of blu-rays? Its like you only "like" movies because it makes you feel unique and gives you something to be snobbish about. Clearly the problem isn't that Chris has stopped reviewing movies. The real problem is that all you seem to want is for him be ruthlessly bully a lower quality film for your enjoyment and be overly negative about something that someone else worked really hard on. Obviously I believe all art can and SHOULD be criticized, but there's a difference between being fair and just being as negative and outrageous as possible for entertainment value and theres a way to approach it thats respectful of all the people involved with the filmmaking process. While you sit there rambling in front of a camera for 30 minutes, making no solid points, giving very little relevant input, and actively invalidating your entire perspective, there's countless people who spend their lives working at a chance to make the art they want to make and to be able to do so without feeling like their work is completely worthless if one project doesn't turn out the way they hoped. Its genuinely pathetic to view other people's art as nothing more than an excuse to point and laugh. If I wanted to, I didnt need to write out this entire comment giving out genuine feedback and criticism. I could've just made fun of you for your appearance or the large gaps between your sentences, but I didn't because I respect you enough to understand that it's just not fair. If film criticism to you is just complaining about everything all the time for the sake of being "energetic" then you don't really care about film at all. If you ever really want to be taken seriously as a "film critic" you need to learn to respect the art form and the work that goes into it without invalidating the people who worked their best to make it as good as they could. ALSO: putting Madame Web on the thumbnail of a video about Sony where he talks about how Sony's lack of quality control and desperation to make a quick buck isn't that crazy. It's almost like a real critic knows to use RELEVANT EXAMPLES to prove a point.
