I don't really care too much since listening to people how it worked, and how its already been patched now with the recent patches. After I talked to a couple of people, I deduced that the current banwave is for Crom smuggling, none of the bans right now are related to resetting currently. The reasoning is that even my old giant which hasn't been in Crom for almost a year is banned and hasn't completed Crom Bas prequest. That giant has "the Cat's Meow" which is from Crom Bas title. I talked to Dream and they also told me that their newbie friends are also banned They have "the Cat's Meow" but have not completed the Crom Bas preqeust. Wintergiftn's shown in the video is not banned even though in the current video she has not done the prequest. After I looked at her twitch VoDs further, I noticed that she finished the prequest on September 8, 2024 which is before the September 12, 2024 banwave. This current banwave banned the smuggled + party leader I find it unfortunate that this banwave targeted smuggled players which there are a few newbie players like Artelus' friends who came for the title since it is a very strong title for newer players. I think most players didn't expect this drastic action compared to overseas servers. Nexon overseas just told to stop and patched it quietly.

1. What counts as an exploit isn't "does everyone do it or not" so I don't see why Rev doesn't fall into this category as well when you are clearing something in a significantly easier way using an unintended bug. That's literally the definition of exploit any way you cut it. 2. If you could read you would know the crom exploit could be triggered unintentionally just from smuggling which was incredibly easy to do and possible to do without even knowing. 3. It's not "playing the victim" when the ban wave hit many people unfairly who didn't run over limits but just with friends who didn't do the quest line, because they're not actually punishing based off of how much people exploited to get extra keys and ruin the market and get a one up as the non runners claim, they're banning based off of if you've EVER smuggled someone in. This is just a bad way to do it when people who didn't exploit the system for keys catch the same ban length as people who made 6b off of cat marble alting.

Additionally yuiko in the description says they DESERVE THE BAN so I'm not sure how it's playing victim when they're open about having exploited.

​​​@@twelie1 Sorry you choose to be offended. In my response I didn't ever quote the uploader as the victim. It was an umbrella statement because yes I'm aware a lot of people were hit by it. I included it because I didn't want to appear to be defending the actual causes of the ban sweep. Also accidentally triggering it is a joke you need to really be joining and leaving a lot for it to occur. That's some gacha luck for it to happen by accident. Likely 3% of the bans. Back to my original comment. No revived illusion is a ridiculous comparison because puppets have been a long abandoned talent regardless. Bet you don't even remember how puppets could get 100% damage reduction back in the day with crisis. Bandaid for what eventually became divine link. Speaking of, would you say having a partner afk in the corner with divine link in the kid room while you stand in the circle is an exploit too? You imply the alternatives are impossible for the average player. It's a poor comparison and a bad argument. Iron will with glyphs and bard. Divinity with glyphs and bard. ALL result in the same "afk cheese". Iron will was the intended way designed to clear that room by the way. Meanwhile what I consider an exploit is something like literally breaking boss mechanics. Like for example disabling the cauldron mini game from the boss entirely. But hey at least they "fixed" the cauldron right? Couldn't bother to fix the cat hit check to be static by amount of players at the start of a dungeon. Such as Alby hard mode. If you start it with 4 people and one person crashes when the boss door opens you don't get Arachne or the cobweb keys. Lastly, my intention wasn't to offend or disregard.

Triggering a RESET is an unintentional side-effect of smuggling- something that as the one being smuggled you can be told to do without even knowing it's an exploit. Not to mention, they purported to ban people for resetting crom and gaining a real advantage over others but actually banned for sneaking people in, not for the amount of keys generated. This is not only a miscommunication but unfair to people who wanted to run with newbies, wanted to play with their friends, or just wanted to run in general with poor connection as provided by the reddit commenter. "Likely 3% of the bans" that cannot be appealed and get auto-rejected is still a very poor handling on nexon's part, and it's way more than 3% considering the circumstances surrounding the ban and the miscommunication on nexon's part. The fact they banned all discussion of the bans on the discord proves this. Rev isn't a ridiculous comparison by this metric because by that logic crom smuggling was also an "abandoned" bug. It wasn't fixed in NA despite already being fixed in kr before crom released here. I'm not even talking about puppets so I have no idea what you're talking about. You don't need to use snare to trigger desync. You used to be able to even just emote to do it. You can use sprite pet. You could use beginner enchant scroll bundles. They fixed some of these and not others as they were seen as an exploit, and for some reason couldn't patch the rest. Clearly nexon still very much considers it an exploit seeing how they shoddily patched it. I'm fully convinced you don't even know what you're talking about at this point pointing out different ways that are doable by ANY PLAYER IN GAME WITH GAME MECHANICS. I'm not "implying alternatives are impossible", I'm saying taking advantage of desync to exploit mob aggro in an unintentional way is an exploit. "afk cheese" is not the problem, the problem is the player not using the ingame solutions you so kindly listed out. "What you consider an exploit" doesn't matter because you seem to literally not understand what an exploit is. "In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitch, or use elements of a game system in a manner not intended by the game's designers, in a way that gives a substantial unfair advantage to players using it." If players who don't HAVE iron will, who dont HAVE Divinty, who don't HAVE bard can literally just stand there and take every hit and not worry about any aggro whatsoever while chugging potions, that gives them an advantage over players with the same stats and gear who try to do the room normally. And yes, the other things you mentioned are ALSO EXPLOITS! Point being, the players who abuse these exploits almost always do so because there is a clear problem with the game design. I don't agree with banwaves unfairly hitting players left and right and I think there NEEDS to be discussion about this, because when you ban for one exploit but not the 20 others that exist in the game, AND you pick and choose who gets to be freed from them based on a popularity contest, you're going down a wrong path by targeting the players that love your game the most and ruining the game balance you purport to want to protect. It becomes a problem with the game and coding over the playerbase. Nexon handled and continues to handle this terribly, and people come to their side to defend them cause it's "not a big deal" until you get banned for rev sac room. The modus operandi needs to change, otherwise many players who love this game including you will be hit with banwaves for "acceptable exploits" once nexon decides years down the line they were actually never allowed and you deserve to rot in hell for being a dirty cheater. I'm not choosing to be offended, just telling you to look at it from the perspective of "fairness in mabi" and see how unfair it is for the people who were targeted. Sure, ban glenn exploiters who went through 10000 steps to get extra keys. Sure, ban crom exploiters for running 100 extra runs a week through the exploit. But don't ban people who never went over limit and just wanted to run with weaker members of the community, or unintentionally triggered a reset once, or even did 10-20 extra runs over the course of LITERAL YEARS.

​​@@twelie1to keep it short and brief. We agree Nexon is awful but also it's not the first time or the last. The logic I'm assuming they are using is that it's meant to be a heavy deterrent. To prevent others from just shrugging off the news. Very late into the game to do it id agree. Secondly sure fine if it'll make you happy by definition they are exploits. The value of what is being exploited is vastly different. One gives you vastly more monetary gain. One and only one of these two options gives you additional chances at chests that you wouldn't normally have. Vastly too different for me in my opinion to compare and to threaten should be banned next.

The banwave performed required smuggled characters because the accounts which are banned are those who didn't meet entry requirements. - They checked if players had a Crom Bas title such as Cat's Meow and didn't meet entry requirements (quest completion+combat1500) - The party leader and smuggled are banned because the smuggled did not meet entry requirements. An example is my giant which hasnt logged in a few months and has Cat's Meow is 30d ban which may have lead to my ban. This should check in with Artelus' story where they are banned along with all their newbie friends who were smuggled in for Crom title were all banned. Wintersgiftn would'ove been banned if she didn't complete Crom Bas story recently as in her recent stream 7 days ago September 8, 2024 shows that she is currently on "Waves Admist the Calm" and was at "An Unwelcome Guest" later in the day. If there are more banwaves to come they need to check the entire backlog of almost 3 years worth of Crom Bas(December 9, 2021 -> Current Date) There are other entry modifiers that they need to take into account such as the recent years' +2 Crom Bas weekly entry Masterplan Nexon needs this second check because players that reset without smuggle are not flagged by this initial banwave since they actually can enter Crom Bas normally. What they would need to do is - check keys obtained week by week (over 3 years) while accounting for +2 Masterplan - did player use vouchers If what Nexon typed to be true, there should be at least one more ban wave. @@MrBru1985 dark diviner gives you another cc2 + ego cc2 so you get 5 charge fireballs/thunder/icespear one cast there is 0 reason to get hailstorm now

You can Bind skills to you skill window and there’s hot keys for them.

DD link 9 allows you to chaincast an additional 2. Stacked with spirit you have +4, giving full charges.

I'm defaulting to magic at the moment since it's my only way of dealing any sort of damage, but I'm coming back from a long hiatus and haven't gotten harmonic saint maxed yet. So progression is at a standstill..
