Very nice! Keep it up!!
Quite simply, Tottenham are mugs.
Fabulous memories, I was there with Asa, Chris Brough fabulous times to be a blues fan, T F, Kenny Burns and Bob Hatton wish I could get those 3 back in a blues shirt
The defences were terrible
Worthington and Weller a joy to watch ,i was 15 and went to every home game, the best leicester team ive seen modern football lacks true entertainment,as most sides had guys who could beat players with ease
Any game with Hugh Johns as a commentator is a great one. I grew up watching games on ITV in the 1960s and 70s with Mr. Johns' commentary. Who can forget "El Ray, Pele".
Him and Gerry Harrison on Anglia TV (Ipswich, Norwich, Luton (!)) were great commentators. And yes, that Pele 'el rey' comment is an abiding memory of a fantastic world cup !
I'm happy for any team to beat spurs u IRONS 😅😅😅
Je croyais que le goal de Leicester était Shilton à cette époque.
il avait quitté Leicester pour Stoke City en 74
Frank Worthington, brilliant
that is a BEAUTIFUL Gretsch! Great playing
I was there. Jesus u feel old!
Me to - yep feel old to,
Love soccer from the 70s and 80s and mid 90s,players giving it all and a much better spectacle for fans of the game.14>1 Amen
I'm 73 and an Arsenal supporter. What a cracking game this was, plenty of skill and great commentary.REAL FOOTBALL! Great days. Thanks for posting
Shilton must have hated Kenny Burns here, but good friends by the time they won the European cup together a few years later!!
Typical spurs winning Fuck all 🐴🐴🐴
a great game - I was there
The linesman must have been watching another game to rule that Burns' goal offside lol
50 years ago!
46 years ago today !
Lenny Glover was my hero when I was a kid
Burns’s off side goal would have stood today as Hatton (number 10) wasn’t interfering with play.
I was there that day in the Utd end. Great atmosphere, we were bouncing all the game. Good job that railing in the away end seperating the fans didn’t collapse
your comment about "the simpsons actors ARE the show" made me laugh. Simpsons is huge in Spanish, Latino, Portugese, Lithuania, Poland, Bulgaria, you name it. And it is dubbed. The voice actors aren't the show when the dubbed version are popular :P I was in Vienna last week and it was BART BART BART on every street corner. Their bart has been played by like 12 different German kids over the years.
Never understood those seats and wide gangways, (several of them) ...in that stand opposite, seemed very spacious. But why? Very odd.
I went there with spurs Crew winter j was 13 yrs old 🥶.. Got chased up a hill to station . Leicester played great fair play them 👏
The family moved from London to Leicester, and I was thé Spurs fan at school. Spurs usually got à result at City so I had bragging rights, but not this time. Also went to the FA Cup tie à few weeks later, City won 1-0.
Another great game remember it well.
Hugh Johns on the mic. Fabulous times at a packed Filbert St. Steve Whitworth, Ellistown's finest...
The first of five successive third round defeats for Tottenham. Beaten by Forest (Cloughs first game in charge) Stoke, Cardiff and Bolton
Pro this was my first blues team
Frank Worthington was a bloody brilliant player wasn't he? RIP big Frank
My very first game at filbert street i went to when i was a young lad 37,500 in there that day
The crowd was just over 26,000
@@fellfox wrong
I was there was you?
he is my pe teacher oh my days
What a player Kenny Burns was
When Brian Clough sign him, he end up defend with Kevin Beattie.
A dirty savage 👿 👹 😨
@@swaldron5558 With...Larry Lloyd?
Clearly Shilton had limited mobility due to injury
I think we beat them again a few weeks later In the FA Cup with Earle scoring
Hugh Johns, what a commenator..grew up with his voice for midland games
who was number 7 ? I saw in many match and always make beatifull balls
Keith Weller, one of Leicester's best ever
Keith was my cousin
After watching Leicester for nearly 65 years I reckon Weller was the best player I saw in a blue shirt.
@@michealpercy1741 and white tights.
Better than Frank Worthington or Gary Lineker? @@michealpercy1741
MORGELLONS Leicester UK great days
Frank Worthington must have designed that strip, surprised that they're not wearing Stetsons!
Rare United appearance for number 6, Steve Paterson.
4.00 the bus roll 🤣
They don't throw that away any more.....💷
Get in Stevie
Andy peak is a great bloke, I work with Andy and he has never bragged or mentioned these achievements. Very humble bloke and a pleasure to know.
Who designed the Leicester kit - Marc Bolan?
Someone who knows what a good kit is supposed to look like.
@@keithwellerlounge74 It's a bit camp - in a good way.
Oh Hugh !! [re 1st goal Graham Cross]: "That right foot of his puts Leicester in front !" It was his LEFT foot Hugh !!!!
He also said Cross had only scored two goals the previous season - "one of them against Leicester."
🤣
K2 K1 ?
Filbert Street ... great atmosphere ..... love the fog !! Thanks Leicester for posting this. Frankie Worthy was a true genius in the Rodney Marsh, Tony Currie, Glen Hoddle, Leighton James mold ....
What a game!!!
Great hair by Gerry Daly. Why did they sell him?
Rich G should never have sold him
"German Newspaper" never got his regular place back after we signed Gordon Hill from Millwall …..
Torowe1 also when we signed Jimmy Greenhoff, Macari dropped into midfield at the expense of Gerry Daly & subsequently he was sold to Derby.
Galton Gabriel Yes Gabriel your right it was Jimmy G who cost Daly his place .... I remember Jimmy G’s debut in November 76 - the Stretford End chanted: “Greenhoffs here, Greenhoffs there, Greenhoffs every fxxxing where, na na na na, na na na, na na !!” I remember Jimmy G looking back at Brian and they both had a good laugh !! One of The Doc’s best signings.
Thinking about it, wasn’t it Sammy McIlroy who dropped back into midfield whenJimmy G was signed? Lou had moved back a couple years earlier - even before the Second Division season.
Mine and Steve Earles First City game.
