No, we do not get boarding passes for our working flights. Or free access to the premium lounges. We actually are not allowed into the lounges while in uniform! You will never see a crew member in uniform in those lounges. I’ve been into a few different ones as a guest with someone who has the credit card access, but only while traveling for leisure. They are definitely worth it! Free food and alcohol and a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the terminal is so nice while traveling!

Honestly I don’t buy them! So I’m not sure where they come from. A lot of the hotels I stay in have them in the room if there is a kitchenette, so I always take them with me 😅 But if you can’t find them online or at the store, I would suggest filling any generic travel size container with dish soap from home instead! I’ve seen a few flight attendants do that as well.

I like it too, until today I didn't like her songs but now I realize I love her songs.

@@heathergarns That's awesome. Love to hear about the lifefriends others have made via the College Program. Unless one has done the program it is impossible for others to fully grasp just how life altering the experience is. I still Disney 2 finger point. Also superfluous info you absolutely did not ask for nor do you care to learn- J's wedding was lovely.

Also my comment could be unintentionally interperated as kinda creepy. Just sorta facts. I can't think of a single person I met there who left not breaking a heart or having a heart broken. Or several. The experience was a roller coaster of emotions and the happiest point of my life.

I used my Nikon for some of the video, but I also have clips mixed in from my iPhone 8! I typically end up using both for vlogging because of battery life, or my phone is just quicker to grab sometimes and start recording. Still use my A900 for every single video though and love it!!

Katharine Boucher How exciting! Congrats! I found that is it’s actually way easier to stay on after the program at Disneyland than it is at Disney World. You are basically just given the option to stay on in your current role after the program. Once you’ve been with the company for 6 months, you can put in for a transfer to a different role as well. You don’t have to worry about applying with the company again or anything like that, which is a lot different that WDW. Managers start asking a couple months before your program is over, and if you are interested they look to make sure you don’t have any major infractions or too many points. As long as you are in good standing, it’s very easy to stay after the program! But your seniority does go down (you have a 3 year seniority while on the program) so you will most likely get shorter or less desirable shifts once your program is over. And of course, you have to move out of housing at the end of your program. That was another factor that played into why I didn’t stay! It was difficult to find reliable roommates towards the end of the program on short notice. And since rent is so expensive, you will definitely need more than one roommate most likely!! I would have loved to stay and make it work, but I was worried that I couldn’t afford it at the end of the day without roommates and with my hours at work going down. I 100% encourage you to try and make it work though! I miss Disneyland every single day!! Hope that helps :)
