I have quite a few of them. They are quality diecast. Comparable with MiniGT. But that's my opinion.

I do have quite a few Brats from HW. But not all. From Matchbox I have three versions. Nice casting. I agree on the metal base but I don't think they will go back. Matchbox is still trying to put less metal in it. Keeping production costs low.

I would rather pay more and get a metal base, like premium HW, I am sure I am not the only collector who feels this way. This range is not really aimed at children and quality counts to collectors, but RLC cars are way too expensive for what they are, Autoworld,M2 and J/L are the best value for money cars in my opinion.

Same with me. But they keep putting less metal into it. I agree, people will buy more premium diecast. Collectors like metal bases and head and rear lights painted. I also agree with you on JL and Autoworld but for me at this moment price quality wise MiniGT is the best. Everytime I have them in my hand I see and feel the quality.

Mini GT are OK, I have a few, but sometimes they are silly money, Para64 is another good make I buy now and then. standard Tomica are great too, but the best Tomica are the older Limited ones, because they have opening parts, but tough to find now.

At my hobbyshop MiniGT is about 11,00 to 12,00 euros. But a lot of quality for that money. I do like the main Tomica and Tomica Premium very much. I do buy them occasionally from Japan. I would love to get a vintage Tomica. I have none. Hard to find and expensive.

I have a nice small collection of these vintage Hot Wheels. But have a hard time opening them. Most of them are still in the blister. Love to open them but the card is mostly mint condition. So I can't do it. ;-)

Just scored a majorette hymer camper van with free postage, I was sent an offer on it, so I snapped it up quick, majorette are German owned now, but they have always made quality stuff, their toyota celica and 2000GT are the best on the market, plus they still do opening parts. I dont mind their plastic bases as much, because at least they put in suspension.

I do not have Majorette. I had the yellow Toyota Celica in hand at a supermarket in France but left it behind. It would be one brand to many to collect. I already collect probably nine brands. Trying to go back to 4 brands because of space and costs.

You should have bought that celica, its a cracking version. I collect all makes, but just the best from each one. Not many collectors choose this approach.

I know. I have old memories about that Celica. I have some nice HW versions and three beautiful INNO 64 versions. Yellow, Green and Blue metallic. A good approach. Better then mine. With my old approach you will end up with to much diecast. Now I choose more carefully what to buy and what not. Can't have everything. Also to much to enjoy if you have to many. Lessons of collecting learned. ;-)
