Hi, I am Rachel, the school counselor behind Bright Futures Counseling! I have worked as a school counselor at public, private, and charter schools in Southern California and most recently was the K-12 school counselor at an international school in Costa Rica! Prior to becoming a school counselor, I mentored at-risk youth through Communities in Schools and served as an advocate and resource counselor for adults with developmental disabilities as well as an academic and counseling specialist at an educational consulting company.
Currently, I am the counselor and curriculum designer behind Bright Futures Counseling and have a top-rated school counseling podcast, School Counseling Simplified. I also support school counselors with my blog, Bright Futures Counseling, weekly emails, and my membership for school counselors called IMPACT!

Many students may not have examples of positive relationships in their lives, making it essential to equip them with the knowledge and skills to build healthy connections. According to the Zones of Regulation, it's not about getting back to the green zone. All zones/feelings are normal and valid. It's about helping students to regulate when they're in the other zones so they can manage.

how do you use this for your own data tracking. im wanting to create a form for counselor data but it only always me to send.. i want to be able to fill it in myself and record the data!
Once you make a form, go up to the eye symbol. Save that to your bookmarks, and when you want to fill it out, click that link. Then if you go back to the original form, it will show you the data.
