This December, we’re celebrating the season with some of the best episodes of School Counseling Simplified! Today, we’re revisiting one of our most popular episodes all about different ways we can teach unhealthy vs. healthy relationships.
The new year is coming sooner than we think and then soon after it will be February! February is full of exciting opportunities for school counselors, from National School Counseling Week to Valentine’s Day! It’s also the perfect time to teach students about healthy relationships and friendships. Many students may not have examples of positive relationships in their lives, making it essential to equip them with the knowledge and skills to build healthy connections. In this episode, I share Valentine’s-themed activities that make teaching this topic both fun and impactful. You’ll hear why it’s important to address healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, creative activity ideas, and tips for implementing them without added stress.

Batching phonecalls Parents - schedule a designated time. (communicating availability clear guidelines 3. In person meetings (schedule a parent meeting) Do a meeting day or meeting block Designated time Batching is helpful, structured way in organizing counseling stuffs.     According to the Zones of Regulation, it's not about getting back to the green zone. All zones/feelings are normal and valid. It's about helping students to regulate when they're in the other zones so they can manage.

    how do you use this for your own data tracking. im wanting to create a form for counselor data but it only always me to send.. i want to be able to fill it in myself and record the data!

      Once you make a form, go up to the eye symbol. Save that to your bookmarks, and when you want to fill it out, click that link. Then if you go back to the original form, it will show you the data.
