Put some copper washers on it to bring the needle off the seat .

@mpatrick7860 I.No worries I really don’t know I didn’t test it .Ours was working but not letting fuel in .The best thing to do next is do the tappet clearance.They usually are way out .That makes a huge difference.
Man 75mph is amazing, i have a 2019 vxr with riva intake/ ribbon delete/ free flow exhaust/ gutted waterbox/maptunex/ 11/15 solas pitched to 11/19 and im getting 69.1 with gps flat water and rear seat off, but i was watching your video amd you definitely look like you know what your talking about! I want to get up there! I want to be the fastest h.o here in miami! What should i do next?
That’s moving for them mods great work .Thats a big impeller are you running a 87 mm factory nozzle .If so I would look at going a 86 mm nozzle with a 11/16..Next I would look at advancing both cams 2 degrees to start with that makes a huge difference.If you haven’t sealed up the intake grate yet I would.I use 3m 550 sealant around the sides and back of the ramp on the grate .Pump seal kit doesn’t seal with out the sealant .just the cam timing intake grate 71.5 mph with the 11/16 86 mm nozzle 72 / 73 mph .To go faster than that the ride plate needs a major overhaul so does the hull .It can get dangerous if done wrong so I pulled that video down .
@@rickohlson3962 yeah i did sealed the intake grate with 5 silicones bottles, and yes it had the 87mm nozzle, only reason i think it does decent mph is cause. The 2019 model has the nanoxcel2 off the gp is a bit lighter, and that 69.1 was at a quarter tank, so your saying go down to 11/16 and 86mm nozzle, ill try to find a nozzle for it sense it has the trim thing i dont know where i could find a 86mm, i am intrested on doing the cam adjustment! Im watching all your videos about the cam!
@carlosalarcon5175 I run the silicon around the ramp on the intake grate .up the sides and ramp .Thats a lot of silicon it’s sealed than .I have a video of mine doing 114 kph in the videos .Trust me if it’s no more than 60 kilograms you won’t notice a speed difference.I don’t notice a 80 kilogram passenger still pulls the same .I make all my nozzles .Dean team makes them .

This is very quiet now I can hear myself think .Other mods on the exhaust didn’t work I read up or it did work but killed power .I can drill holes on that restriction plate and it will be back to loud if I wanted to.
I'll probably add a kill switch to mine. I have found that the alarm creates a parasitic drain on the battery as well, which is all the more reason to add a kill switch at the positive lead.
I don’t have any issues I can leave it for 6 months and start it first go .
Just did my d40. Exactly the same i was advised don't buy off ebay they are Chinese knock offs. I bought from a reputable deisel specialist $285. Fitted myself, next morning it went into limp mode. I found out off a friend who doe's computer diagnostics the error code was still coming up from the previous SCV. He cleared the code and all is good.
Installed this on my fzs sho im going to install a svho intercooler should I keep the cooling lines the same or run the worx dedicated cooling line to the new intercooler and run the old feed ic line to the rear of the engine?
I would definitely keep it the same it works good from factory..A few mates run the seadoo intercooler from Fizzle .It’s half the price of the Yamaha one .But it doesn’t just drop in ..

I’ve had worse .It’s not fun .If you spray them with wd silicon spray and take it for a run and the noise goes away that’s the issue .
@@rickohlson3962 Yeah, my friend sprayed all the bushes and the noise went away for a while. I'll get him just to spray just this bush next time. Yes, I was thinking silicon spray would be best for rubber. Thanks!
@inajiffy5435 it will just keep coming back that noise unfortunately.Even with silicon spray .I would try and get nolathane bushes .
I’m trying to figure out how did u get the solenoid off? All u did was add spacers?
It has a hexagon head on the inside to put a spanner on it .i put spacers on it after I took it off .
So did you do something to bypass the governor
I didn’t touch the governor .It was revving up and down due to lack of fuel .That solenoid restricts fuel to the carburettor.

I did the tweezer thing and the motor works perfectly fine when I do that, so I know the button is the problem. So my question now is .. what exactly is the fix?
Sure is .Just clean the connections on the wires some times that’s the issue. They get corroded .
This oil dropped oil temps and water temps .water goes through oil heat exchanger before going through the engine that’s how .It doesn’t stink so it’s not burning like factory oil .
What is the best ride plate and intake grate combo for speed on the FZ. I keep hearing a stock plate with a cut and the R&D grate (which I cannot find now that they went out of business)
I just made a new video this week on ride plates what will make any plate go faster .The fastest plate was the factory one with a Jim’s cut I found .i cut my own .R&D had issues it use bounce a lot I read up but the intake grate was amazing .Definitely watch it .i pick up 4 mph .Quicker zero to 70 mph times .
Sometimes my relays won’t come up on here . YT studio sometimes.They don’t match up it’s a mess on TH-cams part .My new video on ride plates this week it’s way faster

This is an easy modification.The rear lower left has a drain plug .Some companies sell a kit I made mine .

Thankyou .The newer heads are the same for the 1800 nothing changed.They made thicker casting still cracked ..I need to make a video on how to get air out of the head I will soon .I believe the air in the head boils causing cracks .Ive got a video on rear crank snout how to remove.No one I know has made a video on that .
Im about to mount a head. What to know about the head bolts? Also do you know if the sho cams will go in the ho?
I would have to look up the spec again on the head bolts .they will fit but the cam gears are the issue .the hole in the middle of the cam gear doesn’t always fit.3 different hole sizes .

Yeah I did remove the fan it’s not hard .Better if you remove the radiator if you think it’s going to get damaged .they are easily damaged.
@@rickohlson3962 I'll have a mate do it at his workshop so he's probably good with that stuff but he does VW and Audi repairs so wasn't 100% on the Falcon setup but cars are cars I guess

Just don’t break the O’rings they don’t sell them separate.They make you buy the oil pump as a complete unit to get the O’rings .I didn’t luckily.
I tried that , still won’t start , I’ve put new plugs , fuel pump , fuel filter , had coils checked , still won’t start , ugh
That’s another issue .Did you do the tappet adjustment.be carful doing the exhaust .they have a decompression hump don’t be on that when doing the adjustment.

That set up is old . I have a lot of newer videos of cam timing setups impellers .plenty of set ups for speeds on a ski .Depends if you want mid or top end or both .

This worked on my 2015 VXR: 1. Connect the lanyard. 2. Loosen the negative lead on the battery. 3. Wiggle the negative lead left and right (I lifted mine up and down a few times too, to ensure I was connecting and disconnecting the battery multiple times) . 4. Remove the lanyard. 5. Tighten the negative lead on the battery. 6. Unlock and ski, reconnect the lanyard and start it. The only thing I'm unsure of is whether the ski was locked or unlocked when I started.
Won’t work locked .This will not unlock the ecu .that’s another trick .
I have no clue how this worked, but it did. Thank you! I suspect it has something to do with the lanyard being connected while the battery is disconnected, then the lanyard disconnected while the battery is re-connected. Can someone who still has this error confirm?
It drops current out of the nodes in the ecu ..When you put the lanyard on with the battery disconnect it pulls all the current out of the nodes .Than the fault drops out .

So are these a free running engine? I have a 2015 that just snapped the timing chain.
Yeah it’s the bigger chain .you can run it .change the cam gears to wider ones and bigger guide rails and leave the j small crank one .But the cam gears as far as I know have 3 different hole sizes so watch out for that .The cam has a snout the gear sits on snug .but that hole varies in different models

To many videos what don’t work that’s for sure .I pull down a video if it doesn’t work I test and test .sometimes they don’t work the first time but it will the second time .
This set up is testing a new design prop it’s not sorted if only hit 7400 rpm at 111 kph .Cavitation disappeared when I went from the vxr to the fzr .This has a big tunnel so now I believe the tunnel is the issue for cavitation.mind you that was with the same prop tested both ski when I noticed.So all this time we are thinking it’s props ect when it’s a restriction from the tunnel .
where do you get the shims? I might need some for a Nissan Maxima.

I’ll let you know soon .I haven’t ridden it yet .it’s definitely making a lot more power on a mates dyno .It’s unfortunately doesn’t give a accurate reading it’s a hub dyno modified.But it gives a lot more power mid to top on it from the last readings .

@THEKITPLUG I think I have to much time on my hands but Thankyou .The torque went up 23 nm at 6000 rpm and only dropping to 7 nm at 8300 rpm on a N/a .That’s about the only thing accurate on it .Hp fluctuates to much and no one knows anything about it .It’s so old like me .I’ve changed all the cooling system I’ll post that soon .

This is the most common problem.You might need to check for power with a multi meter.
D central lock not even working
The 2 wires for d reverse light acciently touch then that's when it stop work
@gazathug1479 I would check the fuses first or the remote battery .Does the central locking work with the key on the other doors .

Great video! The best one that I have seen yet! I have the same problem, with a similar mower. I just do not understand what the problem was with the solenoid, or how you fixed it. If you could be more specific, that would really help me out! What did you do to the solenoid? Sound like you "pumped it out", I just can understand with your slight accent. Just spacer the solenoid out so it doesn’t seat and block off fuel flow

@mpatrick7860 you can cut the plastic needle off when you remove it .or use copper washers .It has a nut to undo it .

For the sho they are getting old .Most have high hours .Low hours wouldn’t be an issue .
If you take out the anode it won’t save the engine from corrosion?
No it won’t but you can adapt a seadoo one to it .Make a spacer out of alloy on the thermostat housing and screw it in .
Riva sell an adapter that includes the anode on it. Part number is RY10080-EACA
I don’t use anything from Riva on a N/A .this will be great good find .The ride plate killed 2 mph handled was better though.I usually go back to factory and make it better than what it was .Easier to get results I find .

I wouldn’t move it a tooth that’s to much .I have a video one how to file the holes out to move the cam timing

You need the first 6 numbers under the system information.that the first two numbers under that beside the Tuesday what is a 15 on this screen ..they go behind the 6 numbers .you will get something saying you can only do 250 hours .If so do it again and again to you get in front if it’s really overdue ..
