Hi , my 1.5years conure start laying first egg yestarday, i fill she have more to lay , i see she didnt stay on the egg and today i order a incubator to have it to be sure, i wanna ask you if is better to put the eggs in incubator or to leave eggs in the nest , they have appart a wood box made by me where they have space to sleep and there i place near also a nest where is now first egg. We dont know what to do please give us a sugestion, thanks in advice!
@Zyghyofficial just let them do sit on the egg. Don't disturb them if she lays again just observe... if you want to put in incubator replace the egg with fake egg so you will now if she will sit on them when she fully lays all egg usually 3 to 6 eggs...

@faizanwani501 Nope, maybe they are just bonded same gender do that also, it's not 100% that they are cock and hen much better to do a DNA sexing for more accurate results.

My bird also laid 4 eggs and same thing happened.... Two black eyes chick like father... and two red eye like mother bird. But last on died after 3 day of hatching and second last is very sloyin growth compair to other chick... What should I do.. ?? Parents are not feeding I'm handfeed since third day.
Continue to HF them and much better if you have brooder to keep them warm...

Just make sure you have the right hand feeding formula right consistency... you should feed the baby every hour for the 1st 2 to 3 days and adjust...

Yeah, they need calcium supplements and vitamins... give more veg to them also... there are commercial products out there that you can give... try to search what's best in your area...

40 days old is the weaning process the 3 month old is already weaned... but still just make a good bond you can teach your conure just be patient...😊

You will do it if your Green Cheek doesn't incubate their eggs, if they do, Let them do it naturally and Let them hatch the eggs, if it's healty and you want to raised them as tamed birds get them and hand feed them 3 weeks oLd... sorry about my grammar. I hope you'll understand

4 to 6 times a day, just monitor the crop if almost or near empty feed them again... start feeding them at 7am, and the last feeding is 11pm. Just monitor 2 to 4 hours every feeding time,
