Well, as any cheap guitar it’s not perfect, but, pretty good for the price. Although mine, came with an awful fret job. So basic stuff to do; adjust bridge height, change strings and if possible polish the frets

I don't have a harley benton cst-24t at the moment, it's good, but I hardly ever seen someone using the tremolo... I kinda think it's the tremolo which is not good.

True, in my other cst24 I adjusted the bridge tension i now i can use tremolo quite easily without problems

If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure he improvises most of his studio album solos as well

​@TheFactsMachine I have a strong hunch that hes improvised certain solos with Megadeth. Even iconic ones like Lucretia just sound like he's thinking on the fly

@@michaelgraham9774 Honestly wouldn't surprise me! It's unbelievable how there is seemingly no gap between translating his exotic musical ideas to the fretboard, no matter the tempo or how complex a chord progression is!

Not that hard song, but it’s all possible, with consistent practice, discipline and above all passion for the instrument

Well, thomann and harley benton are quite professional, the thing brings a lot of protection, although it depends on the carriers also. The guitar feels good, i enjoyed more my first cst24(3yrs old now), they made some changes on this one but still very nice and comfortable

Thanks! Definitely, although the fretboard is “C” shaped which means is a bit “fatter”, the frets distance feels smaller, for example when compared with my Ibanez Jem, and the 24th fret is quite accessible even with the indicator finger

It is, I think they could do a thin “C” version, but this one feels okay

What i noticed from the one I bought 3y ago, was the switch (placed a bit behind with a diagonal motion instead of vertical), the knobs seem more apart (maybe for the volume be closer to your hand), the body seems larger… other than that, is the same

@@Winterhe4rt new CST-24 models (indonesia made) have been improved from older ones (vietnam made) : stainless steel frets (blacksmith) vs nickel frets, graphite nut vs plastic nut, and maybe better tuners but not locking like Fusion 3. So they have "fusion it up" as you say. I have 2 old models (red CST-24 and green CST-24T) wich i like a lot. I really like this new purple burst color, humm i think i'll have another GAS next coming weeks ;-)
