In the UK without the availability of firearms Benjamin Ritchie would have punched the police officer maybe kicked him if he fell served 3 to 6 years and probably left prison and met the right girl had children ect. The culture in America creates its own nightmares. The place is crazy.

Some of these guys are intelligent articulate men even likable men. What troubles me about the American way of carrying out capital punishment is the amount of time it takes to carry out the sentence. I think that after 10 15 20 or more years you arnt executing the same man who committed the crime. I know that I'm not the person I was at 18 now I'm 45. I think that if you have the death penalty it should be carried out within weeks as it was in Britain. I think Trevor Mcdonald a remarkable gift for talking to people and treating them as humans. This must have been a very tough job for him.

i did 8 years in uk jail and that was long but 28 years fook that thats a long time

If someone’s violent & a danger to society it don’t matter how old you were when you done committed the crime.

America just throws away the key. America is the biggest two faced country on earth. It is always preaching freedom. Yeah but that is taken away for such minor things. OK its understandable when a life is taken but this baseball rule of 3 strikes and your out is ridiculous. Young men with no violence getting life for shoplifting. And then America has the audacity to bring up China and its human rights and atrocities that are better in the way of ridiculous time in prison but execute you for shoplifting.

Its cruel to sentence kids to death. You can't buy alcohol till 21but you can be sentenced to death at 18. And then they're on death Row for decades and they are totally different people. It's so sad. Even the lengths if the sentences are ridiculous. Life for shoplifting with some states with the 3 strikes and your out.

He has been out before shopping in town his name is Colin Pitchfork and he was the 1st person in the World to be convicted with the help of DNA. He could have very possible gotten away with the crimes to as he persuaded a guy to take the DNA test for him only coming to light after being mentioned during a conversation as far as I remember.
