@@RichardLagoe no we didn't ask for a specific room, this was just what we got allocated. We arrived late at night and though we had no view of the sea or the pool, but then when we opened the curtains in the morning we were greeted with this amazing view.

So if you book preferred club you get slightly bigger rooms with a better view, your mini bar stocked up daily and a separate place for breakfast and where you can go and get drinks and snacks at any time during the day. And premium drinks.

Ohhhh I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience (for you) at this hotel. But they do have to ask your room number for your drinks or how else would they know who to charge it too? I had had no major issues with the food selection, I don't serve myself 5 or 6 different types of meal times at home so I didn't think the choice was unacceptable. But we're all allowed to have our own view points on things and there are so many other hotels to choose from for next time.

Hi there. This was the Gold Sky Suite with Panoramic Sea View, kinda the penthouse as it was the top floor. But I think your room would have the same beautiful sea view. Have an amazing time.

Yes it will be in the modernised side. That will be a lovely modern decorated room. See if you could get a sea view, definitely worth it.

I do agree. The room was functional and clean but not opulent in any way. I've never stayed at the barcelo active, I'll add it to my list.

Yes the ones on the beach have a padded mattress on them. The ones round the pool are like woven nylon and are really comfy, despite them not having the pad. You could always ask for one though I guess??

Yes it's all buffet. Some themed evenings but all buffet style.

There isn't a great deal going off in Analipsi no. 2 or 3 bar/ sushi restaurants just down from the hotel. Nice to sit in the chill out area overlooking the sea but it's not cheap to drink there. It's only 10 minutes in a taxi to Hersonissos though where you'll find more bars and nightlife. It's a long walk though.

Yes I'd say only book if you can get it at a good price. I will try the Yaiza next as it looks lovely there.

It was fairly busy but definitely not full. They wouldn't have been able to cope if it was full!!

Would you recommend half board or eat out ?

@@donjohnson4368 we usually do half board for convenience but then eat out a couple of nights too. Depends on your budget as the restaurants in the immediate area are more upmarket so might work out quite pricey to eat out every night. But had no issues with the hotel meals at all.

We were there the first week of January. Yes the pools are heated to a decent temperature, no issues there.

Not blurred at all, I'm not a professional videographer. I just do it in case it helps someone.

Definitely safe with the toilet door thing ha.

Do you think? This was only a standard double room. Perhaps the pictures show rooms of a higher grade, such as the sea front ones. The room was very nice, massive bad, had all that we needed and was spotlessly clean. And the sea view made it perfect. It was all we hoped for.

@@fionas50life. Went to the Iberostar twice but the Adults Only at Natura appeals.

Yes altogether very good. I would have filmed more in the restaurant but preferred to leave people in peace at mealtimes.

And I don't think I went round the half of it. We only found the tennis courts 10 minutes before we were coming home ha. Thanks for watching 😊

Yes there most certainly are. From your room right down to the lower floor where the restaurant and pool access is. I'm sure you'll love the hotel. Enjoy!

Ohhh I'm sorry that you now have this worry. There is a little block of rooms to the side of the hotel that over looked a grassy area but I'm sure they did have a view of the sea still but not over the pool area. I guess if you were on a lower floor there the view mat be limited, however it did look very peaceful and tranquil and private in that section so you may not be too disappointed. I'd say try and ask again when you check in to see if the have any pool view rooms. But I'm sure it wouldn't spoil your stay, you'll still be able to get a spot round the pool everyday.

@@jillanderson168 sorry, I just realised I replied from my other account. I'd say even if you didn't have a pool or sea view room it will still be overlooking beautifully maintained gardens and palm trees so it'll still be lush. But please come back and let me know after your hol as I'll be thinking about you now. And either way I'll be totally jealous as it's a beautiful place. You enjoy.

Thank you so much for watching. There is the outdoor lunch bar for food but I'm not sure about that works if you're not a guest. But obviously you don't need to wear a wristband so you may be able to go in and pay. I'd message the hotel to double check though as I think they may have altered things a little after the pandemic. I do know you can go into the bar of an evening and watch the singer as we saw a few people doing that who were staying elsewhere.

You're going to love it I'm sure. Yes there was bar soap and shower gel, shampoo and body lotion if I remember correctly. Can't remember if there was conditioner though as I always take my own as I'm particular. But definitely no need to pack shower gel. They were only little bottles but replenished regularly. Enjoy.

You absolutely did make the right choice. We are the same age group yet don't like crazy entertainment all day and night. We actually like to speak to each other on our holiday, crazy hey? Haha. But you're going to love it I can assure you. Enjoy!!

It's a walk yes, but a lovely one. It's all fairly flat and the sea at the side of you the whole way.

@@garethdavies7584 hi there. Playa Flamingo is a short stroll away, maybe 10 minutes? I actually prefer this beach to the main one in PB.
