Traveling with Daryl to Israel: "The Food I Ate"
A sampling of the places and meals I ate while in Israel. This includes a variety of restaurants from "stands" to the hotels. I noted the name of the restaurant and location, when I knew/remembered them.

Jaffa, or Japho, Joppa or Joppe in English, is an ancient Levantine port city which is part of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. Mentioned in the Bible as the place Jonah sailed from when fleeing from his mission to Nineveh; where Peter stayed with Simon the Tanner and raised Tabitha; and where Peter saw the vision of "forbidden" food with the instructions to take the Gospel to the Gentiles. This 3-minute...

In Jaffa, modern day Joppa, at what is believed to be the home of Simon the Tanner, who had Peter as a guest where he raised Tabitha from the dead and later saw the vision which would convince him to take the Gospel to the Gentiles. There was not much to see here, as it is currently not open to the public, as I understand it, because of its deterioration and subsequent dispute over who is respo...
Traveling with Daryl to Israel: "The Valley of Elah"

"Die, Survive, or Thrive" from Luke 4:14-28, is an attempt to encourage pastors to be strong in our low (and even high) points of ministry. It was a help to me, developing it, maybe it will encourage you. This message was delivered by Daryl at the WV South & North combined district Pastor's Camp at our Campgrounds in Summersville, during the morning session, October 2, 2024. NOTE: The video is ...

Not really Chicago? Tribute band with Chicago horns. Give me video of Tanglewood.
Wrong not israel okey ....it is Palestinian land .... 🇸🇩
Can't wait not to see Genocide-land.
Fun tour of GENOCIDE/TORTURE LAND.
How to distract attention from GENOCIDE?
Where was Robert Lamm tonight?
Charming travelogue in GENOCIDE LAND.
BUENISIMO!!
Can't wait not to visit Genocide Land.
Jewish State of Murder & Genocide
At 70 and I still love thosthis band.
Where's Robert Lamm? This is his song.
They were recently here in Nashville on August 20th 24 with Chicago they were amazing
Robert Lamm Neil Donell Jimmy Pankow Ray Hermann and Lee❤❤❤❤
Love chicago ❤❤❤❤
Or let Eric sing more. Champlain has spent too much time complaining about them. Scheffy yes. But Eric Baines looks and sings like a rocker.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that Neil Donell has pretty much single-handedly saved this great band. Look at the catalogue of vocals he's mastered, all staying faithful to the original vibe. And such an apparently nice person too.
I actually prefer his vocals to those of Peter Cetera - his always sounded too commercial easy-listening to me and really turned me off to Chicago.
@@lisaa8795 Thanks, Lisa!
Amen 🙏🏽✝️
Every time I see Lee ,I laugh thinking of him back in 1974 telling Robert Blake,”I got information for you,You’re standing in pig shit” from Electra Glide in Blue.
Absolutely love this, thank you so much for sharing 👌🏾
Love the video for EWF and Chicago. It’s so clear I couldn’t see the stage that well. Thanks so I can relive last week❤️❤️🔥🔥
I was there I had a ball
Wow No Robert Lamm ?
I was there have always been a Chicago fan but never saw them in person. I’m a huge EWF fan and I was so glad I finally saw both groups . An amazing night ❤
@@daryldensford thanks for posting this video but Robert Lamm was not there (just listen to Beginnings). He wasn't in Camden NJ the prior night either (I was there).
@@williamauve4583 Thanks. My mistake, thought he was...
I have seen Chicago 23 times and counting, however, I wish they would’ve toured with Kool & The Gang instead, EWF is good( of course Chicago is better) for the simple fact that there’s been too many tours with EWF.
Bring back Bill Champlain and Jason Scheff
Bill is a great talent, but always sang too many riffs on the vocals (at least for my taste)!
Bill says no.
Bill wouldn't come back in a million years.
Amen by the power of the Lord!
I saw Chicago July 29 and Robertt Lamm was there performing. He was on and off the stage performing hits and I was lucky to get a handshake from him at the end of the concert. I have to say his voice sounded good but that he looked like he was hurting a bit. Based on his many interviews he is a great person and obviously a very talented man. though I would miss him with the band I say go out on top as Peter Cetera and recently Areosmith has. I've seen Chicago close to 20 times and will cherrish all he brings to the band. Does anyone know how Walt the original sax playeer is doing with his illness?
Doing fine, but he is still with the band, but not touring with them due to health issues
@joshuaarcilla6211 Wrong! Walt has retired and not just from touring. As for his present condition, how can you claim to know he's managing with his Alzheimer's? Lee mentioned that Walt was doing well in an interview a while back, but what else is he going to say? He was being diplomatic and knows it's not his place to discuss his dear friend's health. Present day, there's nothing published about his condition.
@@3rdRockRider notice the group considers him a band member, but no longer tours with them on a regular basis with the band despite his retirement as a continued membership
@joshuaarcilla6211 let's consider the original post and then your response to it..."He's doing fine" as if you just spoke with him yesterday. You are offering zero insight.
I know Robert had a pretty bad bout with vertigo a few years back. Feels like he hasn’t been the same since. Let’s remember, though, he will be 80 this year!!
Hello~yo. that is gorgeous edition~have a great day-Daryl! :)
big big fan

also did you guys rent a car? i want to drive there from Fairbanks when I visit next month, not sure if you had to use the Denali highway to get there? cause a lot of rentals don't let you use that highway
We had our own vehicles because we lived in Fairbanks at the time but that road is not nearly as bad as Denali Highway, I don't believe it's restricted by car rental companies.
I love the music you used

I posted a reindeer farm vlog because u inspired me!😄
I am going there 1st week of April. Thanks for your video. What kind of car were you driving? Did you need special tires for the snow?
You're welcome, you will love it! The roads in the park aren't always open, it depends on the amount of snow they have had so ceck before you go. We were driving a pickup with 4 wheel drive, but I don't think we needed the 4 wheel drive when we were there, the roads were pretty clear when we were there. I had really good snow tires which I bought before driving to Alaska from Missouri in the winter but the roads weren't that bad, regular winter tires would probably do fine.

They did!
Love this video great message in it. Yes I miss Mister Flip Wilson
Thank you! Yes, he was a great comedian!
Good grief! Flip Wilson is good though.
Yes, he is and his sketches were hilarious.
Take a perfectly good comedy and ruin it with moralizing.
Stina, thanks for stopping by and for your comment! Many things are used for illustrative purposes. It doesn't ruin the illustration, it just helps to make a point. Flip Wilson , his characters, and his bit remain hilarious, not ruined.
Sure thing, FALWELL! I DO resist evil. Oh, wait! THAT'S YOU!!!
Hi! Thanks for your comment but could you elaborate, it doesn't make sense in the context of the video.
Larry Flynt was the devil . Jerry Falwell Sr . was a great American hero who attempted to protect our precious women from Larry Flynt , Hustler magazine and the extreme perverted x - rated porn industry which totally degrades women . You are either on the side of Falwell and the Moral Majority protecting our precious women , or you are on the side of the pervert Flynt and degrading our precious women .
Mr flip Wilson best comedian ever specially as Geraldine Jones sadly passed on but surely missed and LOVED
Yes, he was a great comedian!
Are you required to carry snow chains in March/April in Denali? Thanks for your answer.
I don't believe so, I didn't have any until I purchased them for our trip back to the Lower 48 through Canada.
