Kanon Huang

Kanon Huang was born in Austria into a taiwan - japanese family of musicians.
At the age of 3 she received her first cello lesson from her Father Hsin-Kang Huang. At the age of 5 she played her first debut in the class concert of Prof. Andreas Pözlberger at Bruckneruni. At the age of 6 she decided to become a soloist in the future.

*1st prizewinner with distinction (cat. A.) at the Prima la musica state competition in Upper Austria.
*1st prizewinner (cat. I.) at the 3rd Gustav Mahler Prize Cello Competition 2021.
*Absolute 1st prizewinner (string A.) Danubia Talents International Music Competition.
*The youngest winner of the "Golden Note" - ORF in Austria
*3rd prizewinner at Antonio Janigro Competition - Junior in Croatia
*The youngest 2nd prizewinner at Dotzauer Compeititon in Germany (cat. I.)
*1st prizewinner at David Geringas Competition in Lithuania (cat. A)
