It feels odd to me how this game is just now on the Switch considering the sequel Tropical Freeze came to Switch years ago.

The only change this game has is donkey kongs animation when you aren’t playing the game it went from a ds to a switch, chat is this worth the 60$ also this game technically costs more than both releases

Honestly I’d pay that price and probably will because Nintendo won’t change the price but I need it as it was a core childhood memory for me and to have it in the switch with the other remaster rereleased games would be great

I’m so excited to play this game! Never got to play it in the past as growing up our family only really had PlayStations. As I’ve grown up I’ve become more of a Nintendo fan & donkey Kong is one of my fav characters!!!

I bought it day one and I beat it just one. it looks very good and super clean and fresh. and it was very challenging and fun. I'm super happy.

Cinematographer John Alcott, known for his work with Stanley Kubrick, effectively captures the eerie ambiance, though the visuals sometimes feel more functional than inspired. The screenplay by T.Y. Drake adheres to many genre tropes but does so with a sense of earnestness that can be endearing. However, the pacing suffers in parts, with the tension sagging between kills. The dialogue is serviceable, occasionally dipping into melodrama, but it largely serves its purpose in advancing the story.

$60 for a remaster is stupidly overpriced. Typical Nintendo--- price-gouging and milking their IPs.

My only issue with magnetic joycons is user repairability. The magnets are going to wear down over time and cause issues, I know that for a fact!
