The reason that the sims 2 will always be special is because of all the love the creators of that game poured into it. You can truly see there love for the game in every detail. We don't see that love put in the new ones. They truly cared about the game and its players back then.

Omg i have the same combination of mods and Ajay Loner and the entirety of the Broke family except for Dustin perished in the same round😭 Ajay left behind an orphan toddler too and Dustin now just has unsolvable trauma from watching his kid siblings burn to death.

I started playing Sims2 about 3 years ago. My legacy family is The Curious Brothers, their spouses, kids ALL UNDER 1 ROOF. That's 50+ sims so far lol Just call Strangetown "Curiouser" at this point because they practically own it🤣 And yes, I have at least 50 mods and more than 300 different types of CC. I even have The Spice Girls & Christina Aguilera in her "Diirty" outfit as townies lol I've even learned to import houses like an abandoned apocalyptic grunge themed house or a wooden theme chalet house. Sims2 just has so much you can do with it - the base game alone is awesome.

The Sims 2 is a really beautiful game and I also play it sometimes. I can understand all of your reasons but there’s just one thing that bothers me: No open world. Don‘t get me wrong I know they did an outstanding job with the sims 2 but I really need the freedom to go anywhere and look for collectibles or just watch my sim go jogging like in the sims 3. However, I will always come back to the sims 2 especially when I want the drama and the businesses. Open for business is really the best expansion pack of all sims games ❤️ thank you for your video 🙂

I relate so much to this lol, I always joke that The Sims 2 ruined all other games for me. I haven’t cared about any other game in the last 20 years almost at all 😂 love this game and I think I always will! Everything you love about the game resonates with me so much! Control over our worlds, unique personalities, rotational and generational gameplay, owned businesses!! ❤

How are you able to play sims 2 I can play sims 3 and 4 but not 2

I often make a cheap commercial lot in Sims 2 that's inexpensive but has a tiny building set up as a minimal apartment, and my starter sim will buy it, rather than building on his empty home lot. A fishing lot works well, with a manager's hut. He'll live there, meeting the neighbors and earning the first 5 (financial) rewards, then he has the funds to go home and build.
