Cool look! I noticed on Amazon the product image for the Haoge UV filter shows printed description on the outside portion of the filter. How is it the one featured in this video is completely blank?

my teacher let me use this cam and it fits so good in the hand. unlike my small mirorles cam(xt100)
just recently bought used 7d body for RM899(around $193) with 21k shutter count, very good condition, paired with used tamron 17-50 f2.8 for starter. i just cant stop taking photos even with iso 6400 thanks to the new denoise AI in lightroom
Same, got one today for Christmas and as my second dslr is is amazing
The AI denoise option in lightroom is my new favorite tool!

I'm glad you did the video because it looks like the camera fits fine. But next time can you try to make the camera angle a little wider, every time you put the camera in the case, it's like you did't half onscreen and half off. We want to see how it goes in, you know?

Quick question, does that lens cap fit on this filter adapter with filter combo?
Do the adapter ring and filter interfere with the lens when the GRIII is in macro mode as I have read they do with another aftermarket adapter ring/filter combination? Also it looks like the Hoage adapter makes a tight seal with the camera? Thanks

Can be camera be damaged if I forget to remove the cap before turning the camera on?
I forgot to take out the lens cap many time so far no damage. in side cap soft EVA interior. its nice to have protect for scratches, moisture & dust

Thanks for that short video. I just got a griii and was thinking which case to get. This looks great. Is it fleece lined?
CAREFUL with that UV filter, many GR users destroyed the lens cover trying to remove it as the glue is too strong!
Seems like a bad idea to me. Couldn't they come up with a replacement ring, that sticks out enough to host a filter. Screw it on, and screw it off as needed.
@@bill3117 they already have it, you can actually see it on the video in addition to the sticky UV filter. The issue is that the lens extends quite a bit. In order to avoid dust and lint finding their way into the camera sensor, the best practice is to carry the camera inside its pouch and not simply inside a pocket. Every non-sealed camera with a retractable lens will eventually suck dust if not handled properly. So far I had zero issues with mine but I am extremely careful. If I know that the environment is going to be dusty, I use my X 100 V instead or Nikon Z6.
@@eldiabolico3750 Great advice! I do have a ONA, small, leather, suede lined bag, as well as a Peak Design Pouch I can use. Pockets seem to be a “no go” with this pocket camera. I did have a GRII years ago and perhaps I didn’t own it long enough to see a dust problem. Nothing worse than being out and about and realize your photos have fleck shadows from dust! That happened to me with a Fujifilm XT-2 I had once while shooting in Chicago. I hit a local camera shop and bought a sensor cleaning kit. Of course, self-cleaning is not an option with the GRIII.

They don't even provide the cables nor does it plug into the wall outlet? that's ridiculous.
This happens to my Gr3 sometimes when my battery is low I usually just remove the battery and replace it with a fresh one, wait a few seconds and turn it back on. I the use the dust off feature in camera to shake the sensor.
