This is but one reason even with profound hearing loss this doesn’t interest me…the increased amount of external hardware that you have to wear on your head versus a simple hearing aid which I already hate.

We hope the batteries are smaller, lighter and have a longer life
Just got my Marvel upgrade kit and trying to get an appointment with my audiologist now. There are NO magnets in the kit however. Was I supposed to receive them or will my audiologist have them (in the right color)?
Maybe it can't know which strength of magnet do you need for your implantat, your audiologist should have magnets. 3D magnet are labeled as blue and number (weakest 1 -5 strongest).
So glad to see this comment! I just tore apart my backpack trying to find a magnet and couldn't find any, so weird.

What does the person, using the listening check, hear in comparison to the user who is deaf? Is it a series of sounds or does it sound similar to ‘hearing through an implant’? I’m just curious.
