Threw the traps out the other day on a heavy rising tide. Soaked for 12 hours and pulled these two big bucks out from the mud! Caught in Hawaiian brackish water. Hope you enjoy the video!

My focus ST intake sound after full FSWERKS Cool-flo intake and tune
Is it any different from 2017?
Same as my driveway absolute junk waste of almost $17000 but Honda isn't shipping bikes and r1 and Ducati maybe what EVs but I'm not spending over 20 on any bike.... Not scary beginner bike my 07 cbr1000rr wld chew this shit up and spit it out, and myself on this turd wld be like wtf !!!!!!
Just bought this bike I think it's junk like I always thought Gixxer was, give me my Honda 1000rr which in ny is unavailable as many models of the liter bikes and ps use the clutch it's what it's there for not good for bike I don't care what idot says it's ok that made this design, and it's uncomfortable as fuck, mines not even broke in and I try not to pound it but it's hard not to bec where is the speed where is the oh shit can't keep the wheel on the ground...

Hey, when you say underthrottle the bike gets wobbly. Does that mean when you accelerate it gets wobbly?
Yes, combination of rider error (learning the power of the 1000cc) and incorrect firmness of the rear suspension I figured out after some seat time on her. Such a great platform!

sick catch man! props for cleaning it the right way, opening it up BEFORE cooking and scrubbing as well. I can offer you some tips to take the shell off. Instead of sticking your finger inside of its body cavity, you can use that same hand to brace on top of the knuckle of the left fin and use your right hand to grab the underside of the shell above the left legs and rip toward the right like opening a book backward. offers more leverage. but dang those were huge, I just wished you measured the shell of that almost 5-lb crab.
I did and I saved it. 8.5 inches tip to tip on the dot.
@@Oceanstole_Soul cool that's right around what I expected it to be. Do you think you could get the mm measurement and a picture of your tape measure while measuring that I can see and verify please? I collect data on very large crab sizes. we can communicate more on facebook.

THats surge, im not a mechanic but from what i know thats not good for a street car . my focus doesnt sound that way It has the sheeew sound more common with a street car . Checkout ken block's rally car races and to some extent gymkana . In those instances surge Is desirable to have no turbo lag.
Mine is stock and does that after a tune. And 5 others I've seen same thing. The blov is what makes that noise after a nice tune

I just cut out the resonator and muffler so its basically straight pipe now. It sounds realllly good to be honest. Simple 60 buks and its beasty compared to 800 dollar exhaust
What exactly did you use ? I’m gonna do the same thing I want my st a little louder but I don’t want to drop hundreds a on an exhaust lol 🤷🏻♂️
I think all ST's do that... Mine does it as well, I have a video of it. Sounds sick! So the only mods are the Cool-Flo intake and the FSWerks tune?
The tunes is what makes it sound like that by increasing the boost
I put the stock map and I didn't sound like that so it's definitely the tune that makes the awesome flutter sound

Need advice!!! Is this a bad sound to here? I am brand new to turbo's and have no clue. I have heard the whole side on "compressor surge" but when its at WOT its has the normal PSSSSSST sound like it should. Any input helps
That PSSSHHHhhh you hear is the OEM bypass valve. Nothing to worry about there. The stustustustu (turbo flutter) you hear is just backpressure (compressed air escaping back out of the turbo’s turbine). It isn’t harmful at low rpms, but if it does that at high rpms (and does it often), it will result in increased wear on the turbo and shorten its life. A stock focus ST comes with an OEM bypass valve which allows the compressed air to escape through an alternative path (vacuum) rather than back out of the turbine. However the stock one isn’t quite good enough. I suggest getting a blow off valve. Boomba makes some good ones. I understand the video was posted ~7 years ago, and I hope this is still relevant. I hope that clears it up ;)
