Michael does a great job 👏 👍
Robert is a Hollywood Icon 😅 so many films 🎥 that have enriched film art worldwide 🌐
Great interview. As for The Offer, referenced below ... Charlie Bluhdorn's character has cameos in The Offer and also The Kid Stays in the Picture. And, "a character" definitely describes him. Working with Bluhdorn must have been, uhh, interesting.
Hollywood needs Robert Evans today! He was a risk taker. He didn't remake known commodities and Marvel movies cause they're safe. If you haven't seen the film 'The Kid Stays in the Picture', I highly recommend it!❤
Robert Evans hadn't heard of Peyton Place? Ryan O'Neal was a household name at the time from that series. To say he was a no-name is ridiculous. Also, I watched Cotton Club again just last night, and its worse than I remembered it. Tons of musical numbers that serve no purpose to the story. In fact, the plot (what little there is) grinds to a halt. When it finally ends you're left scratching your head, wondering what the hell all that was for.
Who else is here because they watched The Offer and wanted to see Robert Evans interviewed?
Me! And I wish Eisner would stop cutting Bob off! I feel like we didnt get the full essence or this is bad editing. Either way - Ur a legend Bob 🙌
Hey John -why don't you make a stop in Kerhonkson NY ? I made a nice little town here for you . Relax bro , my health has been here before . 💜
Thank god the Eisners took control, because if fans ran the club during lockdown we'd be out of business now
Bubbe
What happened to him. He was so good looking. Too much sun I guess, too much "work". Face lifts don't make a man look younger. They look like they survived a fire!
Jack and Robert were very loyal friends they were, Rest Easy Bob I loved The kid stays in the picture
My father 👨was a gambling 🎰 man ...played the horses, 🐎 all the time ...I inherited this trait also ...happy Fathers Day, all dads
How do you gamble on a living thing that can run and eat but can't speak. They can not tell you why they lost.?
@@prayingmantis6777 interesting ...horses so integral to human history/progress ...we obsess about horses 🐎
@@MapleSyrupPoet Yes... Seattle slew was the best!
@@prayingmantis6777 Seattle Slew ...great name for a horse 🐎 just beautiful ...how about that Secretariat horse? 🐎
Evans is such a legend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why was he married so many times?
Cielo drive, Sir remember.
Mafia man.
Guys was a legend. True Hollywood Royalty. He made the movies that stick with you for life. Read The Big Goodbye for further context.
Brilliant business man as well…
Robert Evans is a typical old style Hollywood gangster.
Evan's book is a very interesting read. I recommend it to you.
Have you seen the film? 'The Kid Stays in the Picture'? It's fabulous!❤
Was this interview filmed at the Beverly Hills Hotel?
When was this footage shot? Because he died on the 26th and this was published on the 30th of October. Maybe the last footage ever shot of Robert Evans, and honestly, there will never be another studio head like him again, things have changed so much.
This interview was done a few years ago.
@@rickfarmiloe oh ok, great interview as always, Evans had a presence
I volunteer to be the next studio head like Evans
He was an artist and many of the Suits are business people.
the problem with Star Wars right now is simple - Kathleen Kennedy
Abrams disregarded Johnson's work... because Johnson disregarded Abrams' work... because Abrams disregarded the original trilogy... because Kathleen Kennedy disregarded George Lucas. Sins of the mother.
This was a fantastic interview. Mr. Favreau's passion and sincerity is inspirational.
Michael Eisner is corrupt - ....I know first hand, due to what he and his controlling legacy at Disney (with Robert Iger & Sandy Litvack) has done to me (an independent artist) and my family. Their practices include stealing, cheating, deceit, fraud, lies, corruption, and more lies upon lies --- click on my name/R in blue to see the 2017 TH-cam Federal Court of Appeals Video - with links to court documents and more. or -- th-cam.com/video/GXuAwPt_-qE/w-d-xo.html
Agreed. Michael Eisner is a lying psychopath. He is a "creative interloper" who tried to turn the Walt Disney Company into the "Michael Eisner Company".
As an American and a huge fan of the Disney parks, I've always admired Michael Eisner's leadership. The expansion he helped create at Walt Disney World in Florida in the 80's and 90's was amazing, and I'm thankful each time I visit. I'm sure his leadership will help bring success to your FC.
I'm sold on this guy, I think he is the right man and indeed the right family to move us forward. I can just see a topps cards portsmouth fc special edition and bojack horseman in a pompey shirt for an episode. I hope we don't let this chap walk away
They certainly convinced me they are extremely credible, was previoulsy sceptical. Only concern is coming out of fan ownership and losing the control that goes with that, especially with so few decent owners around. On balance though I have to say it is a fantastic opportunity and a credit to the Trust and the presidents to have made the club so appealing for potential purchasers.
Steve Wemyss totally embarrassed himself. Typical politician
wtf is wrong with some of these people, why ask such stupid questions. we have only been a fan owned for 4 years not 50
hope it goes through and sorry about the xenophobic twats pup
on behalf of the fans I'd like to apologise for some of the repetition on the questions 😂
