Hi Peggy ~ oh, my what beautiful candles and so fun. You are so good at explaining the process. 😊 ~Carol Amato
Thanks, Carol. These are quick and easy to make and so pretty!
They can be earings
Those are so awesome
Hi Peg, thanks for the video. Your button ornaments are very cute. Sorry, I laughed out loud when you flung it over your shoulder. Cheers from Canada.
Well, it was funny so I'm glad you laughed! Thanks so much for watching and for your kind comment!
Love this original project! Now I have to see if I can retrieve pens that I threw away so I can take them apart and get the springs!!
Thanks, @KateGypsy! Yes, I have a drawer full of "found objects" that I save from the trash!
What a lovely idea ~ wind chimes made from what you have around the house. Love it! 💚
Thank you! 😊
What adorable ornaments! I love colorful buttons. Thanks for laying everything out so easy to understand. Beautiful! ~ Carol Amato
Thanks, Carol. These are easy and I like mixing up the colors to make fun little trees!
Oh, wow, he's just walking around like he owns the place! 🤣
haha! He does!
Hi Peggy! Excellent tutorial video. I think your process will be easy to replicate. Great intro to the video, by the way. What a great supply list ~ love it! What a beautiful wind chime! Thank you!
Thanks so much for checking it out. It's easy and fun to make!
What a super cute thing to make ~ great steps to produce this cute craft! 💕 Can't believe you keep your fingers on the bottlecap while you're hammering. Talk about experienced! 😊 Love them~! Talk soon, Carol
Thanks so much for watching. Haha! I live dangerously, I guess!
Great video with very clear instructions. Thanks.
Thank you for watching, @KateGypsy.
I have never seen a tin can man! Very fun!
I think they're fun, too! Thanks!!
Whoa ~ that's a huge value, Peggy. I like the mask idea. I don't use them often, but once in a while, that's nice. My granddaughters would love those little stickers! Wow, that dishwasher soap is a huge value. Thanks for sharing your treasures with us. 💕 ~ Carol
Thanks, Carol, for watching and commenting. I too was thrilled with most of these finds! It really is a fun treasure hunt each week.
What great finds! All useful items. Great bargain finds👍👏
@@kristy.m4691 , thank you! It really is fun finding these treasures.
Oh, wow ~ you really got a great haul! Love those stickers. Our kids gifted my husband that wired cell holder. Great deals! Thanks, Carol Amato
Thanks, Carol. How nice of your kids to give Croce the cell holder.
Wow, what a great idea to have garbage cans in the ground. Hope that little guy got out and has a long life ahead of him.
He got out. They are great climbers but the sides of the can were too slick.
You and I are alike in that we will do everything we can to support the survival of some little animal like this. Thanks so much for sharing. Robert in NYC.
Yes, the poor guy deserved a chance to escape!
Oh, my goodness! Wonder how he got in there! It's a pretty thing...yes, it is quite long! Very interesting - had never seen an underground garbage can. Interesting! 😊😊 Blessings, ~ Carol Amato
I'd never seen these in-ground trash cans either till moving here. They work great, except when lizards get trapped in them! 🦎
good video
Thanks
Thinking of more train travel in the future. Thanks for the inspiration!
Trains are fun! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Hi Peggy, what great tips for crafters! I especially like the ice/denting tip. I never would have known that. It's great that you're using otherwise discarded items to make your craft. Love it! So cute. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. 😊Carol Amato
Thanks so much for watching, Carol. I think these tin can men are my favorite thing to make.
@@TheSicilianLife Your content quality very good and content topic good if seo optimize promotion then you will get great results?
I'm glad you enjoyed your trip, Peggy, and the great fare. I also enjoy scenic landscapes and wildlife from trains. Boy, those prairie dogs blended in with the landscape - just as God intended to protect them. Have a good evening. Blessings, ~ Carol Amato
They were so cute to watch scurrying around! Thanks for watching!
I love watching for wildlife from trains. Might you please flag the location where wildlife can be seen? Or, just state the mm:ss points? Thanks for sharing! Robert in NYC.
Thanks for watching and commenting, @ManhattanRats! I added the time and the critters seen in the description (prairie dogs at about the 14-minute mark). Thanks again!
Very nice tip, Peggy - thanks for sharing! Blessings, ~ Carol Amato
@@TheSicilianLife , thanks for watching!
Wow, I like to be thrifty too. That donut is awesome! Neat, I didn't know the criteria to sell things on Etsy. Nice lanterns. I like the phone holder, too. To be honest, all the items are really nice. Great video, Peggy! 💚😍 Blessings, ~ Carol Amato
Thanks so much, Carol. I love it since it's a cool treasure hunt each time!
I love the sky lanterns. And I've used that kinesiology tape on my knees - it works if you put it on right. And the soap bar is really great for traveling - no liquid to spill in your suitcase. Great buys!!
Yes, I love seeing what's available each week and finding new products to try for a low, low price! Thanks, @kategypsy!
I probably would have tapped out at the peeing on the road 😂😂😂. I’m not a morning person either 😂
It was actually in a secluded parking lot but still, not a biggie to me. :)
@@DoItMyselfPeg yeah my family is from Kentucky and we can tell a few stories about desperate situations 🤣
I never thought of the southwest having an “opposite winter”. But I bet that heat would keep You in.
It's brutal! Thanks for reading.
Great video! Workers need to start thinking about Medicare long before age 65. I was self employed and contributing to an HSA for years. 75% of my HSA is invested in an S&P Index Fund, so it's growing even though I'm on Medicare and can no longer contribute to the HSA. However, I'm allowed to use the HSA to pay for my Medicare Part B & D premiums and the deductible!! So essentially I only have to budget for my monthly Medicare Supplement premium.
That is so good to know! You really did your research. Good for you!!
Hi Peggy, this was really helpful as we are getting ready to meet with an agent for Croce to sign up for Medicare. He already has a Part A card that was automatically mailed to him on his 65th birthday. Lots of great food for thought. Thank you! 😍 Carol Amato
Carol, I'm so glad this is helpful for you both.
I read coffee reading together in description and thought you are an oracle. Your idea is quite innovative and helpful.
Super Sale Bin Store - wow, never heard of it. WOULD LOVE IT, though. My husband would love that first item you pulled from the bag. He works on his feet, and he is looking forward to retirement. I'll check out the dollar stores, but I will also be going around to thrift stores when we get to Italy. Love the kids' smart watch! Very cool video, Peggy, with wonderful savings! ❤ Ciao, Carol P.S. You would just plug that into a laptop or a USB port to charge. 🙂
Thanks for taking a look, Carol! And for the tip about my fear of those little plugs! I hope Croce gets some relief soon. I need to see how that thing works!
I wish we had a store like yours here where I live. No such luck. Good luck re-selling!!
Thanks, @KateGypsy! It is fun and I'm not a shopper normally so it's kind of surprising to me how much I enjoy the hunt!
I would have had a heart attack! Wow ~ exciting life in the desert! Glad you're okay, Peggy. I learned a lot. Thanks! 💚 Blessings, ~ Carol Amato
Thanks, Carol. It is always heart stopping to see a rattlesnake up close but I've been lucky that they don't bother me!
Interesting. I never peed on side of the road, but I think I could 😂 Sounds like a good work option if I need something to keep me busy. Thx for sharing this. 😊
Oh, it's no big deal! Thanks so much for watching and your comment.
Wow!! That snake was really beautiful. I don't love snakes, but I can certainly appreciate how beautiful that guy or gal was. Guess he hadn't been rolling in the dirt because his colors were so vibrant. Thanks for sharing.
What a nice thing to say about that scary rattlesnake! The patterns are actually very pretty but oh boy, I don't like having them so close! Thanks, @KateGypsy!
The time flew as I listened to your story! Appreciate your perspective with wanting to be productive. 😍That's early in the a.m., but I'm an early riser anyway. I used to be a night owl but now now in my 60s. Thanks! ~ Carol
Thanks so much for watching! I'm also an early riser now but still don't like to do anything until about 9 am!
Very clever to tell us how to look for this kind of work. If I were in the U.S. and needed work, I'd definitely check it out. Thanks!
I think vehicle transport would be a great side hustle if you love driving!
Wow! Such low pay! But really interesting job, thanks for sharing.
@@threelittlepotters , thanks for watching! It was ridiculously low pay but good enough for that time in my life!
What a clever idea! How come I never came across this strategy before? Maybe I've just always had a pin cushion nearby - I've got the pin cushion that I gave my Grandma many years ago, so it has special meaning.
I just recently came across this idea too! I've always used a pin cushion, too.
Well done for getting your channel up and running. Good luck with everything.
Thank you so much 😊
I love your doily! 💕 I used to crochet ~ a long time ago. My Sicilian mother-in-law did beautiful needlework. She did needlepoint, crochet, tapestry, and tatting. She also made clothes. Woman of golden hands, they said. Great video! Loved the little trinkets to make the needle minders. Had never heard that term so learned something new. Blessings, ~ Carol Amato
I didn't make the doily but I love it too! You're so lucky your mother-in-law did needlework. I hope you have some of it to enjoy. Thanks for dropping by, Carol!
@@DoItMyselfPeg Yes, we most certainly do. My dear Sicilian MIL crocheted queen-sized lace (filet) bedspreads for each and every granddaugther - 7 in total. Each one took a year to make. Unbelievably beautiful and what beautiful reminder of her love for us all. 💚 Take care.
So nice to see you on camera, Peg! Great job!! 😍 I love coffee too. Congrats on launching! Love your transparency. I'm subscribed. Blessings, ~ Carol Amato
Thank you so much, @TheSicilianLife. I appreciate your stopping by and commenting.
By the way, I'm anxious to see that rust-making video. I could use that in my art work.
I'll be making a video on how to rust dye in a few weeks. Thanks, @KateGypsy.
Great introduction video! You mentioned a book that had an intriguing title - White Oleander. Do you have a link for that book?
Thanks, @KateGypsy! Here's the link to Janet Fitch's novel White Oleander. It's very good! amzn.to/3XqnWjW
