    Sir, you are brilliant! Just received my Canon EOS 5D Mk II camera from Japan today via Ebay. Took some photos and the display would NOT display the photo... was thinking of formatting the card via the menu, but thought, "surely not"... found your video after troubleshooting and saw that you fixed your issue by formatting card. Tried that, and Voila! It works. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you again, you saved me a trip to a Canon repair shop!

    Started with film, Kodachrome 64 and shot film all the way up to the emergence of electronic imaging, as the quality of digital progressed from poor to excellent, I alway kept shooting film alongside digital, throughout. For me, making pictures is a film only activity, whereas taking pictures, is a digital pursuit. With film, I get almost a living result, when I produce a negative/positive, and the thought/working process that goes into make that material thing, is different to the digital only approach. Both kinds of photography produce pictures, but each has a very different affect on the creative process and the final result. It's not a question of which one is better than the other, that questions is meaningless, the real question is which one brings out your most creative work and which satisfies you the most. The answer is a combination of both methods depending on what you can see and how you see it.

      For the blank screen follow the instructions in my video it should work. But make sure that you format the card outside of the camera. The focusing issue could be that you are trying to focus on an undefined subject, such as a white wall. Try it in manual focus. Also make sure that your camera is not very close to the subject. That can cause focusing problems.

    • @skelligringphotographyandw7012
      @skelligringphotographyandw7012 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nozzle and bed temperatures depend on the type of filaments you use. For PLA, 210c for nozzle and 65c for the bed work well for me. But do a temp tower to be sure. The nozzle must not scrape the bed. Level it with a piece of paper between the bed and the nozzle. The paper should rub against the nozzle but still move.

    • @skelligringphotographyandw7012
      @skelligringphotographyandw7012 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. You need a software program called a slicer. I use Cura. 2. Then find a file called an STL file on Thingiverse, and put it in the slicer. 3. Turn this into a gcode file and put that into the printer, on the SD card. 4. Go to the printer menu and find 'print from media'. 5. You can print straight from the SD card that came with the Voxelab printer, as they are already sliced to .gcode files.

      @@MrCamer0n The Voxelab .gcode files are in the micro SD card that you get with the printer. Other STL files need to be 'sliced' in Cura (for example) and turned into .gcode files before printing.
