Bhimsen Joshi is the first master of Indian classical music of the same status as that achieved by Muslims. Hats off to Joshi. I like his masterpiece of Darbari with Rashid Khan.

Thanks - I had long been looking for this Burra Khayal cheez. Heard it live 2 - 3 times earky to mid 1980s - she then dropped this & sang otger lyrics. This sounds like it is from that period or, more likely, a few years earlier, say, early to mid 1970s. Delighted to find it, many thanks
