its partly sondra's fault. there was no reason to get married so young or have kids so young. she should've went from Princeton to Law school, she would've been done by age 25, get a job, then marry Elvin who by then would've been in his 2nd to last year of med school. wait to have kids for another 3 years at age 28 so by then Elvin would be halfway through his medical residency . They'd be rich and still have plenty of time for their kids. Claire and Cliff should've told her to put off marriage , learn from their own hardship

Sondra is the most frustrating of the kids. She got to Princeton, got into law school - she could've set up her life on easy mode. But she got married young, worked at a wilderness store, then had 2 kids.........I think when she turned 40 she'd look back on her life and realize what dumb choices she made

While I love them, Sondra & Elvin were the dumbest of the children 😂 they put themselves in struggle & it’s obvious his parents ain’t have no money 😂 however they did get it together at the end which I love they gave us a full picture of success. You all know that the Cosby house was the main set they used to film things. More than likely for convenience and in order to save money. They pretty much do that on every television show. They didn't go to Elvin's pretend parents. Lol. Because they were hardly ever on the show and they wasn't going to make another set for the show to be used on a regular basis like that. Plus, it was a sitcom so they wanted to use some of this scene for humor.
