UNVEILING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN JESUS AND MARY MAGDALENE - Apocryphal Gospels - Episode 11
#jesus #bible #christianity
Was Jesus married? Was Mary Magdalene his wife? You’ve probably heard these questions at some point in recent years, especially through the works of the brilliant Nikos Kazantzakis (The Last Temptation of Christ) and Dan Brown (The Da Vinci Code).
Today’s episode focuses on a character who may be the most controversial figure in the Gospels: Mary Magdalene. Tradition has placed her at every extreme, from adulteress to saint, but this Gnostic apocryphal text reveals another, perhaps less sensationalized, side of this fascinating figure.
Forget the false controversies and sensationalism spread over the last two millennia. Here, we’ll discuss only this apocryphal text attributed to Mary Magdalene.
This is the only gospel whose authorship is attributed to a woman. The text was likely composed in the 2nd century (though some argue it may have been written as early as the 1st century). Only three manuscripts are available: two in Greek-one heavily damaged and containing just a fragment, the other slightly less damaged but still incomplete-and one in Coptic, which is the most complete but still missing pages 1-6 and 11-14.
Welcome to this special episode! Rediscover the familiar yet always surprising love of Christ and the depth of His teachings through this testimony. Get ready for an emotional journey as we explore the spiritual richness of this apocryphal text and its implications for understanding Christ’s legacy.

This hybrid account, blending gospel, acts, and apocalypse, sheds light on what may be considered ...

Chapter ten of what book
The apocryphal gospel "History of Joseph, the Carpenter". I invite you to watch the full video: th-cam.com/video/IANZUWBnBjU/w-d-xo.html
The apocryphal books are not gospel. They are not scripture. They are only used to confuse actual scripture.
They are called "gospels" as a nomenclature because they are ancient texts about the life of Christ.
@@apocryphalbible The word Gospel is Greek for good news. The good news of Jesus the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. The Gospels are scripture. All others are useless.
This dude doesn't get as much respect as he deserves. Mustve been a great dude if chosen to raise Jesus.
Thank you!
Joseph and Mary were simple poor people. No need for pretense no need to add to the story so they can have power over others or to earn a degree.
Very good series to filling in of the New Testament
Thank you! 🙂
It’s as though Joseph had completed his purpose on earth from God. So it was time for him to go to God. Because it was time for Jesus to delve into his mission on earth to the Father God and be apart from his worldly father Joseph.
Thanks for your comment! 🙂

Just more religious horse manure...
funny thing is the authors of the gospels are all unknown according to Christians scholars and it was proven that the bible itself was corrupted. unfortunately its not reliable book
Thank you for your participation. The authors are not entirely unknown. There is the possibility that the author may not be Matthew, for example, but rather the community founded by Matthew who later recorded what he taught about Jesus. The Bible has not been corrupted, and there are thousands of material proofs that can confirm its fidelity to the original in thousands of ancient manuscripts and copies available throughout the Western and Eastern worlds. The Bible remains a highly reliable book that, like all classical historical literature, requires deep study for understanding. @@apocryphalbible Bart Ehrman, academic scholar who left Christianity confirmed how the bible has been corrupted. - Dr. W Graham Scroggie of the Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, a prestigious Christian evangelical - Kenneth Cragg, the Anglican Bishop of Jerusalem - Dr. Lobegott Friedrich Konstantin Von Tischendorf, one of the most adamant conservative Christian defenders of the Trinity was himself driven to admit that: “[the New Testament had] in many passages undergone such serious modification of meaning as to leave us in painful uncertainty as to what the Apostles had actually written” The oldest manuscript is 350 years after Jesus which was written in ancient Greek called the Codex Sinaiticus, which has no reference to his resurrection which is central to your belief and its not even in Jesus's native tongue which was Aramaic. According to these Christian scholars they have proven the bible has been corrupted thoroughly and that's a known fact actually. Unfortunately Christianity is a religion of blind faith and confusion. We are told by the churches just to believe in it not to ask question.
@@apocryphalbible there are no proof what the community have recorded. The oldest manuscript is 350 years after Jesus which was written in ancient Greek called the Codex Sinaiticus, which has no reference to his resurrection which is central to your belief and its not even in Jesus's native tongue which was Aramaic Like I said before according to Christians academic scholars they have proven that the bible is thoroughly corrupted this is actually a known fact. Thank you and God bless this message to the masses, I love my lord and I know you do as well, thank you for spreading truth. Amen amen! I'm sad that there aren't more likes on this post, but yet so many more on worldly things , the people need Jesus so much , they are so blind and lost.
