I just gotta say, on story 2 yes the niece is entitled. But whos fault is it that she became entitled? The parents probably spoil her just because she's sick and in the hospital, and as someone who has been in this situation (i was in and out of hospitals growing up) i can understand spoiling her a little, i can understand how lonely it gets being stuck within a hospital. That's what my parents did for me. But they didn't over do it, on some occasions they would get me something small that i want. But it wasn't every single time, the parents are just raising their kid to be entitled just because she was in the hospital. There setting her up for failure with making her feel entitled to everything, she needs to be humbled and the parents clearly aren't going to do that

OMG When they said they removed the insulin from the fridge in the second story my blood was BOILING. If you remove insulin from the fridge for HOURS, it will spoil and they will have to replace it. Whatever they found on Google about is super wrong. And do they even know how EXPENSIVE insulin is? It’s very pricy, and I hope the roommate made them pay for it. Also, what if by some low chance, her insulin pump was almost out of insulin and she needed to add more that night? She wouldn’t be able to and it would super dangerous for her bc of THEIR GOD DAMN BIRTHDAY CAKE! And if there really wasn’t any space in the fridge, couldn’t you just have left the cake out of the fridge. Y’know, cause most cakes don’t spoil after a few hours unlike SOME SUPER IMPORTANT MEDICAL SUBSTANCES LIKE INSULIN. Okay, I’m done ranting now.

It honestly doesn't sound like he really gave his consent given he was drunk and not really there... I honestly hope he is okay after that, and I hope the mom hasn't done/does that to anyone else

Im sorry but the first story, me and my older brother are from a happy home. But we were brats when kids because that's how kids are! Didn't matter if we were scolded or even grounded for our bad behavior, we still did it since we were kids and we thought it was funny and some reason despised each other a majority of our childhood. And we were in a happy house, our parents loved us and on the rare occasion spoiled us with something we want, whether that we candy or even ice cream. Even when being rewarded for good behavior, we still often behaved like brats
