Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I got mine on clearance at HD for $75, it was already assembled, so I thought it was a particularly good deal. The reason for my comment the performance of this grill and how well it cooks, that leaving a little to be desired. Fire maintenance, which is the most important thing when smoking low & slow, is a real chore with this grill. Maintaining a 225-degree cooking chamber takes a lot of work, but with practice, patience and several different kinds of fuel, I've been able to maintain a fairly consistent fire in the firebox. The thin metal and all of the points where this smoker leaks, makes the fire difficult to maintain and uses more fuel than the better smokers. A digital remote thermometer is a must with this or ANY wood/charcoal fired grill. NEVER trust the supplied thermometer. Mine is off some 40 degrees. I'll point you to the ThermoPro TS08 or TS20, (Amazon) both of which will provide monitoring of your food and the cooking chamber. My suggestion to all of you backyard grillers & smokers is to remember, "you get what you pay for" and also to watch as many TH-cam videos on all of the different types of smokers as you can. Nothing can replace a good education. While I have been using this grill with fair success, I have a Weber Smokey Mountain arriving from Amazon sometime next week. I can see this grill out in my front yard with a "For Sale" $50 sign on it shortly thereafter. Good Luck to all of you!!

I bought this grill the other day and had a few setbacks because of the lack of details in the instructions. Your video helped me put it together in no time. Thanks for the video. Hope it's still working for you. Thanks again!

The gas spring on the clutch wore out, it happens over time, you can replace it (it is under the body panel next to the pedal). Or what most guys do is go get the manual clutch spring from a Toro/WH dealer that was on older machines, the holes are still there to mount it, you can also just leave the gas spring on there. These manual spring are about 8-10 dollars. I would join Red Square if you need more help or info. The guys there are great.

@sherwoodtyler77 Probably late, but it takes SAE 90 gear lube 2 Quarts of it. API service QL-5. Actually the manual says it takes 1.92 , but who measures that close.
