I'm so used to seeing glitches associated with Scarlet and Violet in recent times that it seems strange to see the term used for Legends Arceus... though unsurprising. As high of an esteem it holds, it's still a Game Freak made Pokemon game, so glitches are to be expected. 0:13 - You're no longer riding on a cool Wyrdeer; both her and her Piplup refuse to speak to you. In fact, they don't want to be capable of physically interacting with a non-Wyrdeer riding trainer. 0:37 - Love the brief cutaway to the Alpha Chansey. 1:01 - It's Kleavor's new surprise attack tactic. The Pokémon descendants will utilise this a lot in the future.

You've survived the day, now it's time to see if you can survive the night... and looking at your summary, I realised my opening comment is pretty much the same. Well it's hard to think of an opening line so I'm not changing this. 3:46 - An yet the way TH-cam seems to currently work, they would rather you pick one of those games and stick to it for life. It does get hard to do, as even a game you enjoy can get stale if you play nothing but it. 5:36 - You say as the newspaper zombie is obliterated before it can even destroy a single mushroom. Seems you did just fine taking care of it. 6:35 - Look at that, Potato Mine proved you wrong. Rest in peace, brave soul! 8:43 - The 150 solar costing Cherry is going to be more useful? Those new Sunshrooms must gather solar energy fast then, as I figured the huge point difference would make the cheaper Potato Mine more viable. 10:03 - It's not exactly like I've played Plants vs Zombies is a long time but I do find the trivia of seeing the plant bios and the discussion of your strategies interesting. They add a nice informative value to your entertaining videos. 12:46 - I've just noticed that your Sunshrooms have gradually been increasing in size. I assume they have also become more effective at gather solar energy as they do. 16:02 - Seemed a bit early to fire it off but you did prove em wrong in terms of getting to make use of the Cherry Bomb. Gosh, you racked up so much solar energy. You could just rain down Cherry Bombs on this field with no break.

I am cautiously excited for Pokémon Legends ZA... though I'll admit, I care very little for Mega Evolution. Still, if they have to be a thing, I can certainly think of Pokémon I feel should earn them and have just spent the last hour discussing this with my brother. So let's see if we end up matching at all. 0:22 - Three... just three. My list of 40 Pokémon to consider might have been excessive. 1:44 - It would have made more sense to give Mew a Mega Evolution over giving Mewtwo two of them. Unless they are positioned as end boss threats, I don't really care much for giving Mega's to Legendaries; they usually don't need it to be viable. I suppose it'd make more sense lore wise for Mew to Primal Evolve rather than Mega Evolve. 3:44 - Driftloon... interesting pick. I do have a few ghosts types jotted down on my list; Trevenant, Pallosand, Cursola. If we're talking Gen 4 Pokémon in need of 'something', then I'd have to say Kricketune. They missed out on opportunities to buff or expand Kricketune's movepool so now my hopes lay in a Mega Evolution. 4:40 - The Fire typing would certainly lean into the whole Flint usage. 6:17 - With exception to Diancie, whom was DLC, none of the Kalos Pokémon can Mega Evolve. It was a very bizarre thing. They threw in the Kanto starters and had them Mega Evolve over the Kalos Starters having Mega Evolutions. 8:32 - The type change to Dragon/Bug would allow Flygon to stand out from the stronger stat Ground/Dragon of Garchomp. Also, it doesn't just look like a bug, Flygon is based off a Antlion... an insect! 13:16 - From what I've heard, Mega Garchomp is actually worse than regular Garchomp, so that would be a downgrade for her. 18:55 - Which is a shame, they are probably one of my favourite set of starters. I like all three and the mono-typing puts them on an even field. If any starter trio deserves Mega Evolution though, I definitely feel the Kalos starters should get them. 23:07 - Oh, nice, I see the Kalos Starters did get a mention. Wonderful to hear. 27:00 - Again, don't care much for Mega Evolution, but if Pokémon were to get Megas my brother and I listed down the following: The Kalos Starters, Pyroar, Luvdisc, Kricketune, Lumineon, Macargo, Sunflora, Spinda, Carnivine, Avalugg, Maractus, Unfeazant, Watchog, Basculin, Cryogonal, Elektross, Volcarona, Diggersby-though, Trevenant, Heliolisk, Malamar, Aromatisse, Slurpuff, Shiinotic, Togedemaru, Ribombee, Pallosand, Vikavolt, Golisopod, Thievul, Falinks, Grapploct, Alcremie, Cursola, Spidops, Dachsbun, Bombirdier, Revavroom, Bellibolt, Wo-Chien.

The curious thing here is, besides omega flowey, i think sans is the only one that can say something once he killed you over the asgore speech, never thought about it untill now

Oooh, neat; another one of these discussion videos. I look forward to seeing which GameCube games you bring up. 0:17 - Don’t forget both the Baiten Katos games, which received port collection on Switch just last year. 2:05 - Ah, so not just limited to the Nintendo ones. I’m going to have to go through that list of Gamecube games then. A Rayman collection would be amazing; loved Rayman 2 but never did pick up Rayman 3 (have played and enjoyed it at a friend’s house). With his recent resurgence thanks to Sparks of Hope and that animated, now’s a great time to push Rayman. 3:47 - I enjoyed Star Fox Zero; it’s a particularly great co-op experience. That said, it needed a new story and I can understand the game not being for everyone. Star Fox Assault was on my list here, as it seems people appreciate the game much more nowadays than upon release. 6:51 - The PSP game (which also released on GameCube) released pretty much the same time as the DS Viewtiful Joe. There’s a real GameCube association with Viewtiful Joe, despite how all his titles did end up on other systems in the end. It’s a fun series; surprisingly brutal and very quickly so. 14:14 - Strange that The Pokémon Company didn’t show off Coliseum. This does seem a very unlikely one (Pokémon Company doesn’t typically do pure ports) but certainly one I’d love to see. I never managed to find XD back in the day so I only got to play the first one. 16:37 - Genuis Sonority worked with the Pokémon IP as recently as 2020, as they are the developers behind Pokémon Café Mix. They are only a small team of 22 developers, so unless they had another studio on hand, I’m unsure they’d be able to do a full Pokémon Coliseum 3 these days. An at 16:59 you bring this up… wow; spoke too soon. 23:14 - Well it’s a Sonic title that hasn’t had a re-release, so I can this as a neat choice. It’d be amazing to have an additional team added to the game (Mighty, Ray and Honey or Silver, Blaze and Marina or even Fang, Bark and Bean). 27:42 - But part of what made it the better version was the Wii U unique features such as the Miiverse Tingle Bottle and selecting weapons in real time. You can’t do those things with the Switch. If I were to suggest a Zelda game for the Switch, I’d go with Four Swords Adventure. The portable nature of the Switch makes it a more likely occurrence for everyone to have their own Switch (an Crystal Chronicles got a remake/port). 31:41 - My brother would agree with you on this. I too would love to see Kirby’s Air Ride get a port, but for the most part, my GameCube port wishes leans more towards to the more obscure and less used IPs. Nintendo have been resurrecting quite a few IPs lately (Another Code, Endless Ocean, etc) and so continuing that trend with ports of the likes of Kukurin Squash, Custom Robo, Eternal Darkness, Geist, Batallion Wars and more would be the direction I’d prefer.

I certainly want the Pokemon Colloseum/XD games to come to the Switch. But would love Nintendo to remake them. Sonic Heroes I want a modern port for the longest time. Because Sonic Heroes is stuck on the PS2/GameCube era of consoles.

More Plants vs Zombies so soon. Best of luck surviving in Survival. 1:00 - Oh... L8rgG9r2u... so is that pronounced Lar-guh-great-you? The subtitles translated that as Lady Gear. 3:57 - I guess that makes sense; the game wasn't designed around with a free-to-play market in mind, so having any free version would have to have a trade-off. Honestly, sounds better than how games lock content behind payments these days. 4:53 - If only you had saved sun energy for the double-headed pea shooter. Luckily your lawnmower is there as a final line of defence. I assume there will be levels completely lacking them in future. 10:02 - They apparently recently announced a Plants vs Zombies 3. An I know the Garden Warefare spinoff series has it's fans. 12:27 - The magnet plants are a funny little concept. Their range seems a bit inconsistent but it's a cool idea. 17:22 - Love how you pretty much placed the Chomper on top of the zombie here. He was most definitely on that square so I was surprised you could do that. 22:02 - That's pretty cool; nice fiery shots. Your twinhead peashooters haven't had much use in this mode. It feels like the standard peashooter with their cheaper price would have been the better option. Still, you're winning, so it's no issue. 24:03 - Would this be the ideal time to drop one of the twinhead peashooters onto that top lane? They face both ways for a reason. 26:09 - Victory achieved; congratulations!

Glad you did some of this and some of that... I imagine you'll be doing more of this and that this episode. An Madhouse would be a rather fitting music to play with Plants vs Zombies. 2:12 - Always rather funny combining a plant with ice powers; they don't usually do too well in the cold. 5:18 - Yeah, there's usually bit of prep-planning when you want to record. Thinking about what subjects to discuss, how long, etc. Just recording because you realise you have a spot of time to squeeze it in can be jarring. 7:11 - Ah, yes, funny how you had an exact example on the row above. To be fair, the bucket zombie was already strolling down that 2nd from the top lane, so time was of the essence. 10:04 - My holidays was pretty good. With how my work schedule was dotted out, I had an entire week off work and thus plenty of time to relax and enjoy the Christmas presents. As always each year, a large Christmas and Boxing Day dinner to enjoy as well, along with some entertaining board game moments (I've got several extended family members obsessed with Labyrinth). 12:19 - The Snowpea seems far more effective than the Walnut for dealing with those pole-vaulting zombies. 16:11 - Such polite zombies, and it seems they have enough brains of their own left to write. 17:40 - They really want you to use some cherry bombs, don't they? Three in a row! 21:32 - Yeah, your wall of pea shooter turrets are kind of destroying all the zombies before they even get chance to reach the potatoes. Those vaulting zombies must have an immediate moment of regret as they hop over the walnut to just be wasted by a barrage of bullets. 22:00 - Hooray; the Potato Mine did get it's chance to shine. A bit of an underwhelming explosion honestly but still nice.

I am definitely very excited for the release of Billie Bust Up, and even though there are only 2 songs that are released right now, I just know that the rest of the soundtrack will be absolutely amazing, I can’t wait to get the full experience.

Nice to see a classic in action... though referring to the original Plants vs Zombies as a classic does make me feel very old (it is 14 years old at this point). 0:47 - Thankfully, the plants shoot past each other when put in the same lane. Funny how Halloween time recording ended up being a Christmas time upload. Plants, zombies; all very festive. 3:24 - You are making a very consistent pattern here with your Peashooters and Sunflowers so your commentary being a little repetitive aligns with it well. 4:38 - Bit odd that the zombies are keeping plant seeds in their pockets but odd describes the overall theme of this game. 6:23 - That is true. I'm surprised that watering the plants isn't a mechanic. Perhaps they wanted to keep it simple but it would a nice hard mode element to add in. 9:39 - I assume your experience with this game how you were able to tell that the zombie would march in from the second to the top row. 10:36 - Poor walnut; enduring the zombie devouring it with a smile.

Luigi is a cursed but lucky soul. The universe likes to thwart his ambitions but he's not aiming for success, success finds him. 0:15 - Well, at least he compensated for one lost life. 0:23 - Don't blame Luigi here; in other Mario games he would have bounced off the bullet bill rather than it immediately exploding upon contact. 1:12 - Love this little moment between Luigi and the stuck crab; he can relate to the struggles so much.

Oh gosh; first waifus? An outside of video games? I was not prepped for this. If I had to take a guess mine would have been... Azmaria Hendric from the anime, Chrono Crusade. She's the first I can remember recognising I was having a fictional crush on but there might be one or two others in a re-collective sense. 1:27 - I love how you highlighted Starfire's boots here. Something very quirky but full of charm in her design. 4:06 - The definition of Waifu is a hard one to nail down. Like I was considering some characters but I question whether they should have Waifu status if I ultimately ship them to a large degree with another character. For instance, I adore Hinata from Naruto but I would never stand in the way of NaruHina. On the topic of Re:Zero, I have also not watched it (modern isekai's are a hard sell for me) but do like Emilia's design. 6:15 - Correction, Marie Rose is Helena's maid. Happy to see Dead or Alive get talked about; Hitomi and Kokoro definitely have waifu status for me but I do like Kasumi and Marie Rose as characters. 9:54 - Not a furry but I have had a fondness for Amy Rose ever since... either Sonic Adventure or Sonic Heroes (so when I was young). As a character, I prefer Blaze, but design wise my preference is Amy but I would say any attraction is despite the furry status, rather than because of. That dress of hers is great. 11:26 - Same; I get very uncomfortable with hugs outside of family. Hugs seem more of a relationship thing rather than a friend thing to me. 13:01 - Glad to hear Otaku Artist got to experience the greatness of the Sonic Adventure games. As for Sonic and the Secret Rings, I'd say it is more average than bad. It has a rough start but once you get some upgrades on Sonic the game plays rather nicely. 16:42 - Whilst I agree with Daisy and Skyward Sword Zelda, whom I adore both, I've never found much attractiveness towards Peach, Rosalina or Breath of the Wild Zelda. The latter two might be because of disinterest for external factors though. As for Samus... I've only ever found her attractive once and that is with her original "Justin Bailey" design. The green hair and pink leotard are much more my preference than her zero suit, which has rarely appealed to me. 22:31 - Skyward Sword Zelda is best Zelda! Still bitter that we never got her in Super Smash Bros for Wii U (along with Skyward Sword Link). 23:07 - Lana is cute (love the use of the Otaku art), but if we're on the topic of Zelda series waifu's, I must bring up Malon from Ocarina of Time. She's the character I was hinting at earlier in terms of re-collective first video game crushes. I never beat Ocarina of Time as a kid but I kept returning to Lon Lon Ranch, both as Young and Adult Link. Finally beating the game when it came out on 3DS and yeah, Malon's definitely Waifu status these days (though I do like the Time Link x Malon ship a lot). 23:51 - I do not see Twilight Zelda as Waifu status, or particularly care for her and her minimal screen time... but in terms of Zelda designs, she seems the most fitting for what she represents. She's supposed to be the wielder of the Triforce of Wisdom and Twilight Zelda is the only one whose design makes you think, "Wisdom." Overall, the Twilight trio designs do a good job of having their characters represent their respective Triforce pieces.

So I got linked here thanks to TheOtakuArtist's community post and um... it seems like this going to be an interesting discussion. 0:50 - Already you three seem to be bouncing off incredibly well against one another. The response to the joke with another joke was so smoothly followed up on. 1:49 - I just realised that you three manage to talk about waifu's across multiple episodes in a single sitting lasting up to roughly 2 hours! 2:46 - "She cute" is an accurate way to start talking about Shantae. Shantae is such an endearing character that I did wonder if someone I saw had a point when they claimed that the Shantae series is carried by it's protagonist rather than it's gameplay. Whilst I think the Shantae gameplay is pretty good, I could certainly see their reasoning. 3:06 - Yeah, the fun Shantae has in her games is one of the most appealing factors about her. She has a similar energy I feel to Kat from Gravity Rush; an adventurous yet girly hero with a kind heart and a big smile. 3:41 - Yeah, Otaku Artist was thinking of Din. That said, I do like Nayru (though that might more so be due to an old internet friend who used Nayru as their avatar). 5:23 - Ah yes; the bikini armour. It does look awesome! 7:32 - An Sky is my favourite character from the Shantae games. So cool that we finally got to play as her in Half-Genie Hero's DLC and so lovely that she also got to wear the bikini armour (with an adorably embarrassed reaction). 10:26 - An appreciated detail as well; such a cute little touch to add to the character. 12:09 - On a "waifu" status thing, as far as Splatoon goes, I lean more towards Callie. Marina is neat though and I do adore her interactions with Pearl (I would say I'm a Pearl fan but not so much in a waifu sense), but she's not someone I'd say I was attracted to in a waifu sense. 14:49 - That happens sometimes. There's Fire Emblem and Touhou Project characters I would likely give waifu status too, despite my lack of playtime with those series. So long as you know of the character through some means, you don't need to play the game to attribute a waifu status to a character. An yes, Star Fox Adventures is basically a Legend of Zelda game with Star Fox characters. 18:14 - I also played Star Fox Zero but I really enjoyed it; a fantastic co-op experience. I do rather like rail shooters; fond memories of House of the Dead in the arcades and minecart rail shooter sections were my favourite bits of Captain Toad.

I hope they add the GBA filter to the GameBoy/Color games. If they announce the old Pokemon games to the GB/GBC next week I want to play the original Red/Blue with the GBA filter like I did back when I played those games on my GBA SP. Of course playing Blue version with the GBC filter would be nice.
