@@aniray1378 I interpreted for students at a college. All computer majors working on various specializations. The Canadian company sent a training module that was split screen. Instructor speaking on one side while showing pictures of the actual errors within the computer. Melted wires, wrongly placed fans etc. Hearing, English-speaking students would “listen” to teacher and just stare at the pictures and follow along. Deaf Students could neither read lips of instructor AND watch the screen at the sam time, nor read closed captions because none were given, nor was there a convenient pause to see one and then the second screen. It was all simultaneous. If they watched the sign language interpreter for the teacher’s instruction, they totally missed the pictures because there was no adequate pause. We called the company. It never Occurred to them that “Deaf/deaf” students could work on computers. How prejudiced and insulting right! Ultimately we got to work with them on a beta project! (yea!) So with slightly more refining, and because they dropped their biases and considered a world view, their product was soon to become an international product. People now want to have 100,000 subscribers so they can get an award from TH-cam or Google or someone else. But it’s like the student who writes a C grade paper, but tries to convince the teacher that his grade should be a A grade when he submitted very little effort. While yours is NOT that situation, a great many are, and that’s why the Bobbie certification is a professional reinforcement that the product you’re sending out is going to be worthy to the people who are receiving it. Like you said, you wrote it for someone personally, and then you sent it internationally. But those people receiving it internationally would really like to see it well done. So once again, I applaud your effort and encourage you to take positive and sincere feedback. I seldom use the word criticism, no one likes that word. With any professional product the first question ALWAYs asked is “ WHO” is your audience? Every movie, political speech, sermon, book,children’s video responds to that basic outline.
