House of Eternal Return is the craziest immersive art experience ever!
Where to begin with this one...for those not in the know there is a company called Meow Wolf which has been around since 2008 and creates large art installations.
Their flagship installation, called House of Eternal Return, is located in Santa Fe, where Meow Wolf began over 15 years ago. I went there on a lazy Sunday, expecting to spend 1 or 1.5 hours there. Instead, I was mesmerized for over 3 hours. There's so much to see I honestly could have spent another 3 in there.

Roswell abducted my heart
มุมมอง 2321 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Roswell was cute and adorable and very much leaned into the alien theme. All their shops had alien books and socks and hoodies and coffee mugs. You name it, a big green/grey face adorned it. I first visited the International UFO Museum, then (Star) trekked down side streets to experience the UFO Spacewalk. After that I (space) window shopped in the downtown area and finished my tour in the scar...
Finding the light in Carlsbad Caverns
มุมมอง 2914 วันที่ผ่านมา
Carlsbad Caverns is a place I wanted to visit for a while now. It's pretty cool, and I highly recommend walking all the way into it, as opposed to taking an elevator down, which would make the trip last all of 15 minutes. This is definitely a dark video but I did what I could. I also recommend the Big Room Route, which has all the best formations of stalactites and stalagmites, etc. And it only...
I spent the day in both the Navajo & Zuni reservations (Canyon de Chelly, etc.)
มุมมอง 24321 วันที่ผ่านมา
I spent one day touring both the Navajo and Zuni native american reservations. The Navajo Nation is huge and would be impossible to see all of it in 1 day. I spent the morning driving the canyon overlook at Canyon de Chelly National Monument in Chinle, AZ. There are a handful of stops on both the north and south rims. I only did the south rim, due to time constraints. Then I drove to Gallup (wh...
On the road again...again (Moab to Chinle [Navajo Nation])
มุมมอง 25328 วันที่ผ่านมา
I'm back on the road, this time south from Moab into Arizona and Chinle (on the Navajo Nation reservation). But before that, I stopped at Hole N the Rock, a tourist site just south of Moab. You can't film inside but in there, I learned the history of the place and its 2 former occupants, Albert Christensen and his wife Gladys, who built a restaurant and their home into the side of the mountain....
Tempting heatstroke in Arches National Park (Arches, Part 2)
มุมมอง 88หลายเดือนก่อน
My second of two Arches National Park videos. After hiking the Delicate Arch trail (th-cam.com/video/rz6_RzurznU/w-d-xo.html), I hiked 3 other trails: Sand Dune Arch trail, Broken Arch trail and Windows trail. By the end of all these hikes my voice (and mental clarity) were destroyed. I still managed to babble on about what I was seeing and hiking. 0:00 Sand Dune Arch Trail 2:34 Broken Arch Tra...
Tempting vertigo while hiking the Delicate Arch Trail (Arches National Park, part 1)
มุมมอง 64หลายเดือนก่อน
In my opinion the coolest arch at Arches National Park, the one found at the end of the Delicate Arch trail is well worth the hike, including the 600-foot elevation change. It took me 80-90 minutes to get there, but at the end I found an arch that is hard to believe exists. It feels like I could push it over.
On the road again (Zion to Moab)

Back on the road again, this time from Springdale, Utah to Moab, Utah, with stops along the way at: Grafton Ghost Town and Cemetery, Fort Zion (petting zoo and general store) and a couple rest stops along the way (Salt Wash and Ghost Rock). If you look hard enough, you can find cool and unique and fun things to do to break up the monotony of the long drives. 0:00 Leaving Springdale/Zion 0:48 Gr...
Hiking Zion in ~95 degree heat (Emerald Pools via the Kayenta trail)
มุมมอง 112หลายเดือนก่อน
Hiking Zion is great but when the temperature exceeds 80 degrees, it gets tough. Such as what happened to me when I hiked the Kayenta trail to the Emerald Pools. It was a great hike and I enjoyed it, but damn was it hot. 90-95 degrees on average and not much shade to speak of. Still, it was for sure worth doing. Enjoy!!
I Survived Zion’s Narrows Hike (ok, we all did...)
มุมมอง 1962 หลายเดือนก่อน
I finally got to hike the Narrows trail at Zion National Park over Labor Day weekend. I had great weather and there were no flash flood warnings. I got wet (duh) and my rented water shoes were filled with water for hours. Par for the course, of course. It was a lot of fun!!
I Finally Visit The Punk Rock Museum!!
มุมมอง 9522 หลายเดือนก่อน
I was a huge punk rock fan growing up. From The Sex Pistols to the Germs and Operation Ivy through Blink-182 and everything in between, I was into it all. The Punk Rock Museum, located in Las Vegas, Nevada, opened to the public on April 1, 2023. It's 2 floors jam packed with everything from U.K 70's punk paraphernalia to a bunch of Alternative Press magazine covers of 2000s pop punk banks, this...
Scenic Hikes in Coastal Northern CA (Gualala and Sea Ranch)
มุมมอง 352 หลายเดือนก่อน
Gualala, CA is a small CA coastal town ~110 miles north of San Francisco. About a 2.5-3 hour drive up twisty Highway 1. Besides the town there are plenty of things to see, including (very) windy beaches and hiking trails and impromptu huckleberry feasts. Oh, and Sea Ranch has an awesome chapel that's worth stopping at and checking out.

nice video. made me think what its like to live at that house at the bottom of the ravine, i bet the night sky is beautiful there. also respectfully you are handsome 🙂
Very cool scenery. Love it.
Been there, several times.
interesting spots. Thank you for sharing.
@@OldFatAndAlone thanks, I appreciate it. And I love what you’re doing with your channel too. Keep it up!
About the broken arch at 4:41 from chatGPT: Broken Arch in Arches National Park gets its name from the large crack or "break" in the arch's span, which gives the impression that the arch might be splitting or has been partially damaged. However, despite its name, Broken Arch is structurally intact and not truly "broken" in the sense of collapsing. The crack adds a unique characteristic to the arch, distinguishing it from others in the park. The arch sits along a scenic hiking trail and offers visitors an opportunity to explore its distinctive formation up close. Despite its name, it's a stable and impressive example of the natural sandstone arches that the park is famous for. Excellent video. I want to visit!!! Thanks for sharing with us.
@@OldFatAndAlone thanks for the explanation! And definitely go, it’s gorgeous!

Misfits are the best punk band! Screw the sex pistols
I like when Pistols burnt all thier artifacts. Now, that's punk. A big F.U. for commercializing punk. Only hipsters would try to make a museum out of it. If you weren't there for it, it isn't for you. The place just looks and sounds lame
I have always wanted to see this place. Thanks! I have to admit I still listen to nearly all of this! I wondered if the Michigan band “Death” was in there anywhere?
@@mattisimo that’s a good question. I wouldn’t doubt it. There’s so much stuff there from so many eras. I could have spent half a day in there.

OLD WAYNE COUNTY BUILDING!! That's where the daycare I worked at was! I can tell you way too much about that place, if I can get you to sit still. Not gonna lie, I watch most Detroit things hoping to catch a glimpse of it. 28 seconds in and you did not disappoint.
Glad you liked it! More upcoming!
very cool! I like this type of filming.
I have been in this neighborhood for my whole entire life
Good work brother I'm visiting Nagarkot in March

I really appreciate you doing this video. I'm visiting next week and the whole week it will rain, and my plans were to go the places you did. I was wary of being able to do it in the rain but thanks to you showing me, I know it is possible and can be fun too.

Most prices are negotiable? People are friendly and want to practice their English so they’ll come up to you and want to know where you’re from. Some want to steer you to stores to buy stuff; if it was something I was interested in I went, if not I said no.
Keep it up bro, your video are good, just try to make video like story, now it's looks row video

I seriously don't understand why foreigners don't travel to tourist places. Delhi has Akshardham, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Aerocity, Asola Wildlife Century, Lotus Temple, Cyber City Gurugram, Noida etc. You can visit these places.
I hope you enjoyed your visit to our country!
Did you stay in paharganj over night?
No, I stayed at Connaught Place, about a 20 minute walk south of Paharganj. I bounced back and forth from India to Nepal so I stayed at a couple hotels there.
@@ohivegotgreeneyes I was going to ask what your opinion on paharganj is as I’m travelling to India on 20th of this month
I liked it and it’s definitely worth visiting. It’s loud and chaotic but perfectly safe. I had multiple people come up to me and offer services (clean my shoes, drive me around) but that’s about it. I recommend checking it out.
@@ohivegotgreeneyes thanks for info. been reading mixed reviews of place. My hotel is in paharganj
It may be loud there but it’s not at all dangerous. You’ll be glad you went.
More of the Paharganj please
if you do not have a microphone, get one... it will make use able to hear you way more clearer and louder.
keep it up man
What's up with that is that the government charges foreign tourists a fee to visit the historic site during peak hours to maintain & preserve the buildings. Like paying a museum entrance fee or bridge toll.
Yeah, kind of like a museum entrance fee. But it’s hard to tell cause it’s really not gated off, just a low horizontal metal bar 1 foot off the ground you can easily step over. Plus, a few days before I walked in with no issues. Then came back a day later and was stopped by security. Kind of randomly enforced.
❤❤❤
How camera you use ?
Sony FDRX3000. You can get it used on Amazon for about $475 US dollars. It’s a small, easy to use camera. I highly recommend it.
I hope the guy actually shipped the painting you bought from him. Felt a little shady - he didn't want to be on camera.
He did! It was waiting for me when I got home and now hangs in my living room.

I grew up around Pgh and a few years back I visited and used the book 'The Steps of Pittsburgh' as a way to explore Pgh history/neighborhoods. It was great and I recognized the stairs you started on. It is a fascinating and unique part of Pgh. I think a city wide neighborhood project to improve and provide a history understanding and value of the Steps of Pgh would be a great way to get people out and have more pride in one's hood.
