Florida Coast Detecting
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 7 ก.ค. 2024
This channel is devoted to metal detecting and treasure hunting along Florida's beaches using a variety of metal detectors including: Minelab X-terra Pro, Minelab Equinox, Minelab Manticore, Nokta Legend, Nokta Score, XP Deus II 2, XP ORX, White's metal detectors. You'll see real hunts from a beginners perspective on how to use the machine and how to find burried treasures. Hoping to find gold and silver, but will settle for some coins and bottle caps.
First Piece of Jewelry Found On Jupiter Dog Beach Florida Using The XP Deus II 2
I finally found my first piece of jewelry on the channel at one of the best beaches in the area, Jupiter Dog Beach in Jupiter, Florida. Not my first ever, but the first for the channel. It was a beautiful gold earring, but is it real gold, or just gold plated? Several coins were found as well as plenty of plaful puppy dogs running around on this dog beach. I'm using the XP Desu II 2 on this hunt and it did a great job.

A brand new metal detecting channel covering the Florida coastline. Please like and subscribe if you like this video. More videos to come. Today's episode is at Jensen Beach, Florida where a special and possibly valuable coin is found beach metal detecting. The XP Deus II is used on this treasure hunt for the first time. Beginning metal detectorists will get a kick out of the mistakes made.
Found my 1st gold wrapped up in seaweed. Bottle cap feature works great. Some just seem to escape by, especially those new corona caps. I use 2 to 3 on bottle caps, starts breaking the tone up. If is am finding very little caps, I keep it off. If your salt water hunting or wet salt sand, gets noisy, turn down your salt sensitivity setting until it gets quiet. You will not lose depth. Do that before adjusting sensitivity or reactivity settings. Nice vid! XPD2 is a great platform.
Thanks for the tip on the salt sensitivity! I'm still searching for my first gold anything. I had some cool finds...just not gold yet. It'll come though. Just gotta keep at it.
Good job. Again, I love your format. Happy hunting
Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind words. Happy New Year to you and your family!
I've subscribed. What a fun video to watch! I was a singlehanded sailor many years back and spent some weeks in Stuart while passing through. Now I'm a metal detectorista in Mexico. I look forward to more of your videos.
Thanks for your comment! Glad you liked the video. I will be releasing new videos on Friday. It would be interesting to see what all you've found in Mexico!
@@FloridaCoastDetecting The video that went public tonight is, by far, my best and most exciting day. Butt I'm new at this and only have 12-14 hunts. Christmas morning was amazing! Other than that, I've been a bumbling fool, for the most part. I also found a cool horseshoe and an old dagger in the waterfall video. I look forward to enjoying more of your videos too, and enjoying the nostalgia of having been on those beaches several decades ago. Happy New Year to you and yours.
Thanks! The lightning was coming down all around me. I was worried I was going to get struck. 😆 Apparently I missed a nice target during all that too. The wind was blowing so hard there was a cloud of airborne sand that was about a foot or so above the ground sandblasting everything. My lower legs were red from it afterwards. Thats how hard the wind was blowing. I think your channel is the only one that I know of in Mexico. Would be cool to find some old Mexican gold!
@@FloridaCoastDetecting Wow! That's intense. I remember how hard the sand can blow from my time in Palm Beach County where I lived for seven years. I am definitely hoping for some old gold and silver. I'm only five weeks into this, so brand new, and really look forward to discovering interesting finds here.
Absolutely love the format. Good job.
Thank you for the feedback. Glad you like it. If you'd like to see another one it'll be released this Friday.
Thanks for taking us along! Don’t get discouraged, most of my best finds I would have sworn were going to be trash until I pulled them out of the sand!💍
Thanks for the kind comment and thanks for watching! About the only thing that discourages me so far is the oppressive heat during the summer 😆 but I still get out there. I'll be releasing new videos on Fridays if you'd like to come back and watch some more. Have a wonderful Christmas!
