@@nofrbls3640 if that works for you, great. I grow on a pretty large scale so the more I have around the better it is for me. What are you grinding with? I have a chipper shredder I make compost and wood chips with.

@@thelonelyhomesteader943 i grind with my hands actually, i started gardening last year so im still figuring out the best things to do. i'll look into chipper shredders though, i plan to start a compost bin like the one in the video

@@nofrbls3640 Compost is key to making your soil better! It is easy to make and if you have weeds around it is a good way to get rid of them. Try to pull them before they go to seed and you don't have to worry about hot composting and you can just let your pile break down. Check out some of my composting videos and if you need more info you can just ask me. Congratulations on starting a garden!!! One of the best things I could say is try to use what you have around or it can get pretty expensive

@@christynm.8933 I will do that for sure. Two weeks is just a minimum wait time. The longer you wait the better it will get. You can just dip in and go full strength anytime but I will post after two weeks.

He didn't show because this doesn't work. If anything it is extremely weak, way too weak to make any noticeable difference. At this point he's just watering. Nothing extra just low IQ

Yes, you can add just about anything to it. Even meats and guts but it gets a lot more stinky haha. I also add egg shells and coffee grounds.

I'm in California! Some of my videos are from my first homestead in the high desert in the Antelope Valley area. Now I'm in the high desert of Anza California. In both places I try to focus on building the desert soil into good usable soil for growing food. Thanks for watching!

@@thelonelyhomesteader943 definitely earthworks are a must,lots of mulch. Finding plants that work in your environment is another thing I'm working on. I'm trying to naturalize a lot of plants too. That way I don't need to do anything but eat them. So far diakon radishes,pak choy,and mustards seem to work.

I'm building it for a client and it's going to be a tack room for horse tack. There will be a round pen right outside the back door. If I was building it for me I would definitely live in it. It would make a nice tiny home. Wait till you see it with the front porch! Should be posting that this week!

Hey Bob, so the pipe has multiple holes drilled in it. You can poor water in it and it will disperse through the whole pile. It also allows more are through out the pile.

Well that is sad! Maybe try shade cloth like I do. That is how I got the cabbage, brassicas going when it was still pretty hot. It is in the 80's now and they can handle that.
