Does it matter whether an aspect is applying or separating in your consideration of what is the tightest aspect?

What is the difference in quality between applying and separating. You have given a general description but I would really like to see some examples. Also in terms of events in life how do they play out? I have heard that applying aspects relate to events that happen earlier in life. Is that true ?

My mother has Sun in Leo but her oriental planet is in Taurus - its Saturn,...Is it that the farthest is from the Sun the less influental it is or..

What does it mean if the oriental planet is in same sign or if it is like two or three signs away? And if I count the asteroid Psyche which is in conjunction with the Sun then Psyche is my oriental, but of course we talking about orirntal planet not asteroid etc...but it could be taken in consideration together with Pluto and the planets that are close to jim the Moon and Mercury.

Pluto oriental planet and is in conjunction with Moon and Mercury. In Saggitarius 12th house. The Sun also in Saggitarius 12th house and in conjunction with Nessus and Psyche.

Hi, I love your aspiring astrologer book it made things easier to learn. I wanted to ask, in my dispositor tree I have some planets independently hanging on the sides. I don’t know how to interpret it for my self, my sun and Pluto are on the top line but no connections

There are of course other ways to get one's fill of culture without always having to travel abroad. For example, I like to watch Indian TV and Indian films on Prime. Have you seen *Made in Heaven*? Maybe you should. You don't have to go to India to get a feel for the culture.

I'm a Libra with Scorpio rising and Saturn in Scorpio in the first, and I like to be unobtrusive in the 3D world. I love it when people underestimate me so that when they do something evil, I come out of nowhere to stop them or call them out. I find it very beneficial to have scorpio rising.Of course, I know if I had Lubea rising, I would probably be a good-looking person. But I don't and I don't care.

So, my tightest aspect is actually exact. Like, exact exact. It is Pluto Trine Midheaven at an orb of 0 degrees 00 minutes. Apparently that is rare. The problem is, it is not between two planets which does not meet the requirements as you mentioned in the video. Also, it says when looking at the Astroseek website whether the aspect is separating or applying, and it says that Pluto Trine Midheaven is separating, even though it says its orb is 0''00. You also mentioned that the aspect has to be applying. All that aside, my tightest aspect which meets all the requirements you set forth is Mars Trine Neptune at 0 degrees 07 minutes. When looking at everybody else's, apparently that is still pretty tight to have after considering all the necessary criteria. Could you possibly give me some insight into how this would affect my overall personality because it is so prominent? For context, my Mars is in Gemini in the 11th House and my Neptune is in Aquarius in the 7th House. Does this increase Mars and Neptune's overall importance and importance of aspects with other planets?

Kris Jenner is another perfect example of a person with this aspect! I have Venus square Pluto, love this…I did that exact thing when I was young playing at my friends house

Hi 👋🏼 curious, do you consider a “castle” to be a valid pattern?

Would I count the mutual reception between Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus in Pisces at the top of the tree even though they're generational planets and those aren't their traditional ruling planets and everyone in my generation would have it?

No wonder I'm so incredibly scattered, I have an inverted tree. 5 planets at the top doing their own things with only 2 of those planets depositing other planets, 4 planets in the middle and 1 planet at the bottom. Does this mean I have to decide what energy to go with or what exactly does it mean? I have my Sun alone in Leo at the top not depositing any planets. A mutual reception between Neptune and Uranus at the top also not depositing any other planets. Then my Moon in Cancer depositing my Venus and Saturn. Finally my Mercury in Virgo depositing my Mars and Jupiter which deposits my Pluto in Sagittarius at the bottom. Does anyone have any insight?

Thank you ladies! I think this dispositor tree method is a great delineation technique for clients who don’t have their birth time. What say you? Also, how important is the ascendant in this method? Do we consider the ascendant when creating a dispositor tree?

Hi Alison, I've just bought your book. Eris is my oriental planet from the Sun. Uranus is my Lunar oriental planet and is in 9th. Vedic astrology gives greater weight to Moon.

Eris is, she is almost the size as Pluto.

Eris in sidereal Pisces the 6th is, thank you so much for including her. Or do you think I should disregard her and concentrate on Jupiter in the 5th? In which case I might study some law. My father and uncle were involved in law in Singapore. Jupiter is co-ruler of Pisces so maybe particularly powerful. I've been teaching myself astrology and law for years.

I have a lot of scorpio in my chart, and I love rectification. I get suspicious if I feel the ascendant sun or moon is off, I feel it psychically. If they're older, I also check in on the easier or difficult parts of their life, jupiter, saturn issues help...

This was a good, realistic and pragmatic way to look at rectification. Thank you so much! I could relate a lot! When I first became obsessed with my chart, (like really I still am 😅) I started reading about the different ascendant sign and how they each project out in the world. I was a home birth and my mother could only remember that I was born in the afternoon🙃 So, with her being a cancer sun and very much so connected to that mothering instinct, I believed her and took it and ran with it! But then I realized that the ascendant signs change quite rapidly and thought oh, no I need more information 😅. So reading the different ascendant energies, as well as checking that local area I was born in to find out what time the sunset was helpful. I was born on a Monday (moon day) and it was thick of fall so needless to say, sunset was pretty early on. After doing all that it started resonating with me more and more. As well as the karmic ties I have with my mother and her moon sign falling in my 12th house. Rectification is so fascinating to say the least!

I found an answer😊, as the transits on the day I met my life-partner were not that meaningful n I always wondered..the transiting Sun is less than two degrees from my natal Vertex (in libra on dc) away (applicativ). Interesting! Haven‘t paid attention to this point yet!

My vertex is at 27° Gemini in the eighth house. I also have a Gemini moon but a Libra sun and other planets and Scorpio rising and Saturn in Scorpio in the first house. The death of my brother with Down syndrome in 2012 is still reverberating with me, as if it happened 5 minutes ago. I took care of him by myself for seven years 🎻🎻 and used up all my retirement money doing so. You really find out who your friends are when you're in a situation like that. Turns out I had some very shitty friends and relatives. Thank you for this interesting discussion. I hadn't previously known I even had a vertex! I also know now why people always expected me to write their speeches or thesis papers or whatever else. I turned out to be a book and print editor.
