Ok so I'm not a mechanic but I fail to see how there's a 50% increase in airflow if the air intake is stock size. Only so much air can enter the box and that's the same amount as from factory surely, unless the scoop is enlarged.

That’s the second time I’ve heard that these air boxes do not much so I’ll just stick with the $100 K&N filter, thanks for the review

What other mods had you done to the engine? Blow off valve, anything else?

Hey mate! Thanks for the support and kind words about the manufacture. Unfortunately due to the factory ECU, you will not see any true gains unless you have a aftermarket tune. Whilst we did see increases of up to 10hp on the dyno, these were quickly negated after heatsoak took place, and the vehicle changed its mapping to run within set parameters. Where you will see an advantage is when you take steps to increase boost pressure. Thanks again for the support, hope you enjoy the product, the car & we can sort you out with some other products in the future.

Just adding the airbox won’t give you more power lol 😂 It will help the engine flow better so there will be better gains with tuning.

This engine and platform is begging for more power and it can handle it. But I think ford is being conservative so that this platform doesn't outperform its bigger cousin the f150 with the 3.5 ecoboost which it can easily do with a proper tune and it being lighter.

i would rather blow 2k on the fenix intercooler upgrade , but every little bit helps i guess
