Thanks
Thank You!
I will censor myself because I know this is a school and professional source, but HOLY (CRUD)! I was watching this as a requirement for career forward and thought it was just another thing I had to do and that I wouldn't get much if anything from this, but WOW! This video has helped me a lot. I have been struggling with mental health a ton lately, and depression can be such a negative fixed mindset and it absolutely effects how well I do in every aspect of life, especially school. When I am doing best is when I am willing to fail and learn and experiment, and when I do really poor in school is when my depression tells me I'll just fail, and there is no use in trying. Seeing these mindsets and writing down the comparative ways of thinking side by side is hugely helpful especially with all my piled up work for finals that I have been accumulating from entire days spent in bed not able to get myself to do anything. Now instead of just stressing and feeling like a failure, I am being more kind to myself realizing that I do struggle with mental health and that I have overcome many obstacles and that whatever I do turn in I still need to give myself praise for the effort and struggle I went through, not just tell myself that its going to be rushed and not my best work and that I am a failure. I really cannot say thank you enough for this video! I am actually excited to do these workshops now based off of this one!!!!!
Kelly! We are SO grateful that you took the time out of your day to leave us such fantastic feedback! Be kind to yourself! You can do anything you set your mind to!
