I remember Tim from his and mine very early days, when Tim use to accompany Ginger Taylor to the British Legion at Accrington. That was a very, very long time ago. This gets a default like from me. I still remember how much my grandmother loved this song and Sammy. Now that I'm getting older myself, hearing this songs words, and remembering how she was and the way she lived..her and this song make perfect sense. Love you, Grandma.

David Nathan went on to work at Contempo record shop In Hanway Street, which was just off Oxford street in London & was part of John Abbeys Blues & Soul organisation, this would have been 70/71? I remember a little later David had a massive afro :-) a really nice guy & a great shop. When I first went there the "counter" was basically a wooden table & there would be piles of records everywhere & such a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I met Major Lance there & the beautiful Tamiko Jones a couple of times. I worked 15 minutes away so used to pop in 2 or 3 times a week. A great time in my life as a 16/17 year old, the Northern scene was yet to come for me :-)
