@@X_Hollow-There was a lot of moments that went against the 180 degree rule and the animator's rule of thirds. (side note, its early in the morning so these might not be the best possible descriptions) 180 degree rule - imagine an invisible, horizontal line that goes straight through both of your characters, your camera should never cross this line. if shot 1 has character A on the left and B on the right, shot 2 should still have A on the left and B on the right. doing otherwise can disorient the viewer. Purposefully going against this rule works well in horror settings, but we're just talking about a man decapitating his best friend, so it seems a little odd. animator's rule of thirds - imagine an invisible 3x3 grid on the screen. this is a guideline \for where things should go. if theres two subjects in frame (with assumed equal distance between them) they'd each be on the two vertical lines, you would not put them both on the far left of the screen because that leaves a bunch of empty space. as for shots with a single subject, you'd either put them in the vertical center, or the part of the screen opposite to what they're looking at (e.g. if they are looking right, put them on the left.) this rule is far more flexible than the 180 degree rule, you dont have to follow it perfectly, but it can just generally improve your art.
