@@juliosdiy3206 Hehe… during January and February are the Harshest Months we have to endure here in Manitoba, and there are times it could go down to -45 but I woulnd’t dare go to the Lake in that Condition, This is probably our second coldest adventure and the first for this year. The Red River runs from Lake Winnipeg all the way to ND and MN as far as I know and I believe it goes further down. And yes, the Catfish population of this River is really impressive because it holds a lot of BIG ones. We even have a place here called "LOCKPORT" which earned the nickname the CATFISH Capital of Manitoba.

I use a perch jig instead hahaha Anyways tip lang kuya use a slip bobber with or without stopper helps cast farther and split shot to get the jig sink. I checked out the spot last Monday kuya, no perch for us but I got lucky with some cute Tigers there and no luck with splake

I really appreciate it! 😁 Regarding the spot, it is not that deep - probably around 4-6ft only, but just to warn you, when I did this video, a lot of vegetation under the water is what I found there. So if “isolation” is what you are looking for, this is definitely your spot and on some Great days, this place will definitely surprize you, I even had the opportunity to get a bite from a Smallie there but failed to land it….
