You will like it in the snow. I am in Ottawa Canada and we get lots of snow and ice. My 2023 Lariat Maverick is better in the snow than my 2019 F150 Lariat was. Handles much better on icy corners and I only have the stock Michelin all season tires. My Lariat is in Alto blue with the black out package and the 4k tow package. You are correct that the lower differential ratio makes it feel more zippy than the regular ratio.
That’s impressive even with the stock Michelin’s!!
Let’s call the tires what they really are. Three season radials. All the work in winter conditions is the Maverick. lol
@@demonsaint1296 Agreed. These tires do ok in our winters when they are new but they are crap when half worn out yet people continue drive on them. The Maverick does a great job of compensating for bad tires but the right tires for the conditions is the right thing to do.

Congratulations! I ordered a Maverick the day orders opened up for 2024, still waiting for a build date, but I’m in no hurry. Really looking forward to it, when it does arrive though!

It makes sense I mean Ford had more recalls last year than any vehicle in the history of the world, but I can’t see a reason why we can’t guinea pig one of these new models they’ve came out with.. sure they stopped making cars literally because they couldn’t do it efficiently but I’m sure they’ll get this Maverick right 👍 Sure the CEO came out and said that the lightning was a mistake but surely this Maverick will be OK and won’t have any recalls at all
Yeah these things happen with new cars… if the maverick ends up being a bust, we’ll maybe try out a taco, a canyon or the Sierra!
The Maverick 2.0 liter ecoboost has been refined over many years, they thickened the cylinder walls so eliminated the head gasket issues, the rest of the Maverick is based on existing Ford platforms, so nothing really new here. The 8 speed transmission is also nothing new...That's why I ordered the ecoboost model rather than the hybrid, I'm sure it will prove to be reliable.
