Mine is an original Zippo from the USMC 1986 - and its marked with "Made in Zippo USA"

But is there any real difference between performance between zippo and the fake one ?

In my opinion, I think the fake one would be a decent choice for low budget user P/s: I don’t say you should use fake because original is so expensive. I would recommend using a real one for best life time

The last one wouldn't be fake. It's only a fake if you put the zippo name on it. That right there is a knock off 😂 many companies make lighters that look like zippos. U just can't have the name on it

My 1994 model does say Made in ZIPPO and everything is printed long ways or sideways

the first 2 zippo are both original. the only difference is that first one is five years older and it is a little bit different the insignias in the mechanism. i have the same zipoo from 2007 and it is exactly the same.......

I'm trying to find out about the company that produced it (the casing should be original, not a zippo casing since it doesn't have the normal zippo markings instead it says Z-16.
