I already bought it along with their USB smart port (so it cuts off automatically when the bike isn’t running) and the pro stem mount with vibration dampening. I ordered this separately and due to your video I see why it’s so expensive. Seems really nice. Thanks for sharing! This is going to be way better than writing directions out and taping them to my gas tank.

Hello! Do you think could be a good place for install komobi system or other GPS system under the tank?? It could be dangerous?? Or could be a good hide place for avoid that thieves find it whitout problems?

All my bolt does is spin. Can’t get it to come out.

Any advice on getting that back Allen bolt out of the rear seat? Mine just keeps spinning and doesn’t come out.

Since it has to be plugged into the usb port, it’s technically not a wireless charger. It’s just subcontracting the charging and making the mount thicker. I have this and didn’t install it.

You never actually removed the tank complete, maybe relabel your video. Removing the tank fuel lines and electrical would be more helpful than trying to balance the fuel tank whilst running cables. I've done your method before with a usb cable under the tank and it can be frustrating trying balance everything and not scratch the paint.

Nice set up chum, quad lock keep telling me that dampener does not work with the out front arm but both the bicycle and motorcycle mount like yours has the extension arm does anyone know what they mean?

In my opinion, Quadlock really messed up by not having the cable hard wire into the unit. The plug option is just another annoying place that can rattle loose. I would get one if this wasn't the case!

So, not wireless then 🤷🏼‍♂️

Excellent video - I have a 2023 - removed (lifted up) the tank to access underneath - wondered as well where the front attachment was - re-installed it and something was not right, gut feel, checked the lock to lock steering - and was nowhere near the range it should have - thanks so much for the trip with the C, fixed it. Quadlock say it doesn’t draw power from the battery when not in operation 🫤

I installed one of these and it doesn't work as good as the original lock mechanism. A minor knock on the phone and it dislodges and comes free.

It's an "Allen bolt or screw". An "Allen Key" is the tool you remove or install Allen head fasteners with. I have a 2022 SS. Take the short seat screw to Home Depot and by one an inch longer. You'll still need your Allen key/wrench to take it loose but won't have to fight the seat all the way. It is a less than clever design. if you buy a screw that's long enough to stick out an inch or so, you can braze or solder a dime size tab to the screw head to take it of with out the tool that will inevitably scratch that small piece of bodywork below the seat pad.

Does it have a built in dampener?

Does a vivration dampner still fit

Hi from Palmerston North, New Zealand 🇳🇿 I've got the Trident 660 & I'm looking at getting the quadlock system the same as yours. Just one thing I noticed you are not using the vibration damper! Are you using one nowadays & if you are not has it damaged your phones camera functions. As far as I'm aware it's mainly a apple issue & not so much an Android one. I'm currently using the Samsung galaxy s21+ Cheers Jeremy

I'm so confused... Where did you get that 12v to 5v (SAE to USB) adapter? Did it come with your quad lock? Whenever I look at the purchase details of this wireless charger, it says nothing about it coming with this adapter. I also look at other unboxings on TH-cam and don't see this. Where do I get this? Man I'm beyond confused lol

Thanks for the review! I just picked up the QuadLock mount for my Harley Road King. I've not installed the charger but have it to install (U technically would not need to but...) I was going to mention, in addition to the lightning connector getting wet and the phone complaining about water, I have a lightning connector from the battery and, in an overnight rain storm, had the connector short out and blow the fuse in the line.

Why do they call it wireless?! It’s not wireless 😂 I thought they meant it was the equivalent to a powerbank, which would make it wireless. This is WIRED! 🤷🏻‍♂️
