From a toon fan, I don't think you were that bad just unlucky to play us when we probably gave the performance of our season so far. On a side note the goal celebration after the first goal was ill advised. It took an age and I think it wound up our players. Far too early to be showboating by dancing on the pitch

I don’t think it should be considered a collapse or a crisis or even the bubble has burst. It’s just another game where Eddie Howe got his tactics spot on against you by nullifying the threats and reduced Chris Wood to only one touch in the oppositions box all game. If it continues then worry but as for this game in isolation you’ve just got to hold your hands up and say we got it spot on and move to the next game

SO strongly disagree, Max, about Elanga. His run at 34:20, when he, AT A SPRINT presses Emerson... then Rodriquez... then Killman... and THEN Todibo... AND THEN Fabianski. Incredible. Just incredible. A less hungry player would have given up on that gut-busting as futile. And then the hustle and PACE shown immediately by MGW in support to slide and beat Rodriquez to the ball. Then the support from Yates & Aina & (obviously, almost goes without saying) Dominguez resulting in us regaining possession, It was like a domino effect of effort inspiring more effort inspiring MORE effort. It should be on a loop in the changeroom.

I think the last time we were top 3 in the Prem must have been 95/96 not 98/99 because we got relegated that year and we finished dead last too 😭🥶not to be returned for decades. I was a fan from the early 90s, so been misery untill we got promoted, and now we are in dreamland, crazy. BUT i always looked at how other sleeping giants did it recently (Villa and Newcastle) Just scrape ourself clear of relegation and then we could establish ourselfes as a Euro contender in 4-5 years, we can get Europe, we are rock solid, very hard to beat, great. Now we need to beat Newcastle ahead of the international break and then wehave brutal schedule that we can look forward to

This time next week we seriously might be 4th. If we win, Brighton don’t beat Liverpool, Villa lose to Spurs and Chelsea lose to Man U…. The big caveat to that is that before the season started anyone could have nominated next week’s game (or after week 3) as being the obvious spots where we might be flying high. And as fans we can fully enjoy this but good to see that most are also keeping their feet on the ground. Mid table will be a very good year. Top half would be extraordinary.

Milenkovic is the best player so far, for sure....he hasn't put a foot wrong.....am a little concerned if the bigger clubs come knocking this summer - but, at least, we would make a healthy profit - right now, I wouldn't sell him for less than £50m.
