    • @SliceOfJapan
      @SliceOfJapan 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would say one day from Fukuoka is fine if you follow this plan or something similar. Especially if you get in early and leave before last train back. If you want to add more to your day then you may want to consider an overnight stay too! There’s plenty more to Nagasaki city, much more than I can show in one video. These are just the most popular and most recommended

      Personally I think you can walk to almost all of these places, but you can use the tram system to get around super quickly using an IC card. You can walk up to the top of Mount Inasa, but it’s a long steep climb. There is a cable car but it has a fee to use, I don’t remember the price I’m afraid.

    Is there a love hotel in Aomori?

    • @SliceOfJapan
      @SliceOfJapan 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are love hotels in almost every town and city! Sometimes they won’t be on maps, or easily searchable unless you know where to look, but you should be able to search for some of the bigger ones. Sometimes you can even walk right by one and never know! Other times it’s very obvious, they can be very flashy from the outside. I haven’t been to Aomori yet so I’m unable to give any recommendations.

    Cost per hour/per day?

    • @SliceOfJapan
      @SliceOfJapan ปีที่แล้ว

      They vary quite a lot depending on facilities and location. Anywhere from ¥3000 per hour on the cheap end (avoid, not good. Go for something higher end) to ¥14,000 per night or more on the higher end. I’d recommend travelling a little bit away from centres like Shinjuku if you really want to experience some good and affordable ones. Yokohama has some good affordable ones too. But remember these are not your typical hotel, these are more experiences than anything, and rooms get quickly filled

    Thank you for sharing your insights into the Japanese language. Just for anyone reading this, ensure you use Arigatou Gozaimasu to say Thank You to anyone you don't know or to acquaintances. It's the politer phrase to help earn you more positive points. Happy travelling everyone!

    • @SliceOfJapan
      @SliceOfJapan ปีที่แล้ว

      While this is true, almost all the phrases in the video don’t have their polite endings added with the exception of one, and that’s only to force it into a question state rather than a statement. Communication is more important than being correct as a tourist, and if the short version of Thank You is easier to remember, then people should use that, it’s better than nothing. Brownie points are nice and all, but this is not a Japanese lesson.

      I don’t remember the exact cost but it was around ¥30,000 for one night, for the room, including access to the public onsen, dinner and breakfast. We were lucky to find a good deal on it, usually it’s closer to 15,000-22,000 per person depending on location/facilities.
