FILM MUSIC:
Unreleased and rare film scores. All videos contain music not released commercially on CD. Most pieces of music are ripped from the movies' actual soundtrack and sound effects and dialogue (if present) are removed as much as possible. If it is discovered that a film score has been issued on CD/digitally, the music video will be deleted. The music runs from the Golden Age of the 1940s through the present time and comes from American, British, Czech-Slovak, French, Polish, Swedish and Russian films (and every country in-between).
CLASSICAL MUSIC:
Radio broadcast works and rare recordings. Virtually all the videos are recordings from radio and a great many are the only known performances of a given work. Less often, you will discover live recordings and the odd, very rare and long out-of-print LP. As with the film music videos, I do not share music from CDs on the channel.

Petr Hapka bol skutočne fenomenálny, nenapodobiteľný skladateľ.👍👏👍👏
Devastatingly moving
Panie, Panowie w tej muzyce jest wielka moc. Pozdrawiam
Does the rest of this score exist?
I'm sure it does, but it's never been issued.
As a Hammer horror fan, I was delighted with this film, only just viewing it 55 years after its 1971 release, the great Ingrid Pitt and the Countess' initial lover, Hercules himself from Jason and the Argonauts, Nigel Green, who died prematurely in his forties in1974. This film didn't and doesn't receive the attention it should, only because it was a horror film. Composer Harry Robinson wrote an inspiring score. Those Turkish/Carpathian acoustics.
Fantastic stories fantastic music
PRECIOSA MÚSICA. ES MÍ PAREJA FAVORITA. MÍ SERIE FAVORITA. ME REFIERO A LA DE ZELAH CLARKE Y TIMOTHY DALTON ADORABLES LOS DOS. TODO EL ELENCO DE LA SERIE SON DE LO MEJOR. SUBLIMES. ❤❤❤❤
"Big water!!"
Ah, mountain music. The disillusioned have always retreated from civilisation/society when they feel it has failed to live up to the highest moral standards. Lonely places or spectacular and spiritually uplifting landscapes are sought out in order to refresh the mind and soul and enhance clrity of thought. Peter Cushing's character - a scientist dismayed by the failure of human nature during a war in which Auschwitz and Dachau, Hiroshima and Nagasaki and other horrors have devastated any notions of human progress and essential goodness. He therefore leaves this ruined world behind in pursuit of something, that, perhaps, is unsullied and superior- a living holy grail and worthy successor to his own failed specie. The pureness of a snow white environment where mountains composed of ages past and the fossilised remains of former ruling organisms seem a fitting arena in which members of a soon to be extinct race of beings will be confronted by their successors.
Very nice performance. Plenty of moments reminding me of Aaron Copland for some reason.
I loved "The Story of English" documentary series, and this short little theme is dear to me. I finally paid attention to the credits and saw Stephen Oliver's name. I've been listening to everything I can find that he composed for TV. He left us too soon.
For fans of the film, just uploaded this clip regarding the film's use of narration and bookending: th-cam.com/video/qHErnuJQ2VY/w-d-xo.html
2:55 is when the beautiful Pakistani National Anthem "Qaumi Taranah" is played. And if you either want to sing along to this beautiful anthem or want to learn the lyrics of this wonderful song while standing at attention, here are the Urdu words penned down by Abu Al-Asar Hafeez Jalandhari back in 1952: Paak sar zameen shaad baad Kishware haseen shaad baad Too nishaane azme aalee shaan Arze Paakistaan! Markaze yaqeen shaad baad Paak sar zameen kaa nizaam Quwwate ukhuwwate awaam Qaum, Mulk, Saltanat Paayinda taabinda baad! Shaad baad manzile muraad Parchame sitaara o hilaal Rahbare taraqqee o kamaal Tarjumaane maazee shaane haal Jaane istaqbaal! Saayae Khudaaye Zul-jalaal Pakistan Zindabad
Beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I watched this movie on my birthday for the first time. Incredible how 70s movies are magical!
Sounds like a score from some monster movie from the 50:s.... 😊 Must be an amateur tape recording from someone in the audience. I. 0'00 (fast) II. 5'33" (slow) III. 9'43" (fast)
Entranced
This is very interesting fictional film with non-fictional elements. The film is obviously modelled on the most famous English Public School, Eton College. As for the casting, Rupert Everett plays the main character Guy Bennett who is modelled on a real British spy, Guy Burgess. Both of Rupert and Guy Burgess are gay and very handsome. Also, Cary Elwes, who plays his friend James Harcourt, is actually from Harrow School in real life. Eton and Harrow are rival independent schools. Utterly interesting to see the scene that Cary greets other gentlemen on campus raising his index finger. This is exactly the way that Harrow boys do in a real life.
Um dos meus filmes mais amados. Músicas belíssimas e grandes e eternas interpretações de Richard Burton e Genevieve Bujold. Viva a Rainha Anne Boleyn que hoje 19 de Maio faz mais um aniversário 😢
❤
někdo zde napsal: Hapkova hudba je bolest a láska v jednom...a opravdu...do srdce bodá i duši hladí zároveň..jeden z největších skladatelů všech dob včetně všech klasiků..proti němu je Mozart vlastně jen líbivý komerčňák...Hapka byl kořením...národa....výrazem, projevem jeho skryté hloubky...zřejmě bude ještě za stovky let více doceněn, až budou vyhodnocena srovnání všech skladatelů těchto dnešních ve skutečnosti starověkých pradob...aneb doba socialismu byla velice vzácná mírová a tvořivá epocha a to na obou stranách...samotný pád těchto dvou protipólů nevyhnutelně přináší dnešní, budoucí apokalypsu....
Tuto píseň zpívá Karel Gott a jmenuje se Lorelai
A nice concerto. :)
RIP Gudrun Ure who played Kirby's fiancé. She played Supergran.
A great composer.
I saw this film on Polish television in 1979 when I was 7 years old and I still remember it.
Il film mi ha fatto piangere lei bravissima interprete,la parte finale e struggente 😢la musica stupenda non la dimentico mai ❤
Quite unexpected Hamelin played this avant-garde piece
Excellent performance! Almost exactly that of the movie's actually finale. Bravo!!!!!!!!!!
Haunting, ever since I first saw the docuseries.
Very fine
I like how it actually sounds like a march and not something made for a tv show
Beautiful and entertaining
I wish this sort of music was available to buy. I can’t find any on Spotify. Does anyone have any suggestions?
The unmistakeable John Harle on the solo sax.
Love the movie and the soundtrack.
Perfect - THANK YOU, for posting this. 0:55 - 1:15 it does something indescribable to my soul :0) great film & soundtrack.
possibly: Claude Genetay, cellist, 1966 Swedish radio recording.
Can you post the movement tempos?
Anyone know where one could watch this movie?
Музыка потрясающая
Fantastic composition
So, where is the movie?
I do not upload movies. I upload film music.
@@jamesstuart5904 Hoops, loved the music&steel looking for the movie:)
Gdzie mozna obejrzec ten film?
it`s a masterpiece, brings tears to my eyes easily.
Can’t understand why Arnold’s symphonies are virtually ignored considering the scarcity of new music of any worth or lasting value.
I can't criticize the story because it actually happened, and times were different back then. This is acceptable in book form, but this movie is simply disgusting and bait for pedophiles. Why the hell would you make sex scenes with a minor?
Honey shut your fcking 🍑 this kind of videos are made for the fans your comment it's so misplaced if you don't like it then what are u doing here 🙄😒
I just uploaded a full OST on my channel. Did it for all of you guys. Enjoy this beautiful piece of art! I did my part for the society, now I can rest
